Thank you. A perusal of the study doesn't seem to provide direct discussion of the control cohort (animal fat diet), but it does strongly imply that that cohort did much better than the test group. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 show the clearest difference in the two cohorts. Bottom line, I'm going to quit worrying about my cholesterol, especially since I don't use seed oils and don't avoid animal fats.
In fact, I'm heading to my kitchen in a few minutes to scramble some country fresh eggs from a local farm and chop in some beef brisket and cheddar cheese for breakfast.

Oh Lord, can our society actually be dumbed-down any further than it already is. We're cranking out high school graduates who can barely read, or write two consecutive coherent sentences, and who know very little about our history or how or government works. Excellent idea, but our Founders already knew that the basis for a nation did not lie in its laws or constitutions, but in the fallibility of humans. Our Constitution was an attempt to rein in the worst aspects of human nature, that corrupt politicians were just as corrupt in the days of the Colonies as they were in the Senate of Ancient Rome.
Our Constitution and Bill of Rights were intended to limit government to its necessary role of guarding our borders, encouraging commerce, and to wage war when the nation was under threat. What you see today (especially during the Biden years) was in direct opposition to those principles.
