I think you must of missed the glasses. Have you ever tried to ride a motorcycle without glasses or some type of eye covering? It doesn't take long to get things in both your eyes. Just bugs alone, then you have rocks, dirt , pollen, and other crop blowing in the wind.
I saw the glasses in the OP, my comment was about riders ive witnessed in the area i live. I ride my dual sport to work almost everyday its above freezing here in Michigan. Ill tool around in my yard without glasses on, but never on the streets.

I saw a kid...no joke... probably late teens early 20’s last week when I picked up my daughter playing volleyball alone (I know ... hard to imagine) but he was serving and running after the ball.... outside..... wearing a mask.....
I literally saw this the other day. Hauling ass on the freeway. His brains may eventually be splayed across 3 lanes but at least he won't have covid....until the coroner gets a hold of his death certificate.
He's definitely wearing that mask while riding to protect against bugs, dirt, debris, etc from getting in his mouth or nose while riding. Honestly a perfect use for a mask pre-wuflu, but masks have been sort of spoiled for that sort of thing now imo. I've always used a bandana while riding if I'm not wearing a helmet that covers my whole face.
