My guess, he could be at Walter Reed to visit with the rescued pilot, if either one of them has been taken there. Or to give thanks to the veterans and military personnel who are be there.
Not sure on the exact timing, but I don’t think the lid was called until after the pilot was rescued and now that he’s been rescued he’s taking the time to spend with loved ones and to give thanks and praise.

I feel you. Virginian here. They keep saying we are a solid blue state. We are not! More closer to 50%, give or take a few % points back and forth. Lots of corruption here as well. We are now trying to not lose our representation in the House with an illegal gerrymandering that will take us from a 6D-5R representation to a 10D-1R representation and will most certainly affect the Republican majority we now have in the House of Representatives. Not to mention all the ridiculous new taxes that they are proposing after they just gave themselves a nearly 300% pay raise, and refusing to cooperate with ICE with illegal murderers! It is maddening.
Maybe the GOP should run someone who appeals to the electorate and that will at least work with the conservatives. We don’t need to spend much, just run someone who’s willing to do the legwork and is reputable. Force the Dems to spend $$ and resources. Force the Dems to earn the win, instead of just letting them have their puppet installed unopposed.

I am with you on that! We use about 700 gallons from October to April. I can’t remember when we’ve paid less than $3/gallon. I have to budget for it, knowing I am going to need it to stay warm.
Thermostat stays at 65°, lower when we’re not home, and 55° at night when we’re in bed under covers. 100+ year old house. I keep an extra layer on, either jacket or hoodie on inside during cold days. When it’s really cold, I will cut on the gas logs in the fireplace when we’re just sitting around reading or watching tv in the evenings.

If I’m not mistaken, during the Obama administration there was a delay in the overseas military ballots getting to their intended destinations prior to the 2016 election.

Agreed. I can’t believe Sears and the rest of the R ticket only got 11-12% of the total votes for that area; although it is a very liberal area, I’m not seeing it as anywhere close to 90% Dem. My estimate would be more like 60-65% Dem vs 35-40% Republican.
I’m sure if we were to poll all the Republicans who voted there that it would most definitely be much more votes for the R ticket than the results have. There’s definitely some shenanigans going on there.
This is such a true a statement. We need to be able to verify every vote, every voter, and every count to be accurate and without fraud. It’s frustrating and demoralizing when we know the left are stealing our elections. There needs to be steeper penalties for these people and localities for committing election fraud.
I noticed in past Virginia elections that the Democrats mail-in and provisional ballots were outnumbering the Republicans in many districts by more than double, in some cases much more, like 10x. Its effects on the down ballot and state and local elections were sometimes the amount of those differences in some localities.
Also noticed that the city of Charlottesville had an unbelievably low number of Republican votes recorded after the 2025 election. I knew that area was very liberal, but couldn’t believe the Republican candidates would only receive around 11%-12% of the vote. That was alarming, as well as the differences in mail-in and provisional that I noticed there and in other areas around the state.
Haven’t looked over the results too closely this past 2025 election other than being surprised by the Charlottesville numbers. I was expecting a huge Dem win there, but the overwhelming numbers just blew me away. Almost the same with Albermarle County, both huge Dem wins. I know there are some areas in Albermarle County that are pretty conservative. I wasn’t expecting that big of a Dem win there either.
Not that those areas have a huge voting population that contributed to the Dem sweep. Just surprised at how few Republican votes there were, when I know and have met many conservatives in that area.
It was truly disappointing and I’m dreading the future of this state. I believe there is widespread election fraud and corruption throughout this state and pretty much all other states as well.
She was most likely the staffer who helped prepare the speech with Plaskett and that’s why she caught the mistake. Typed it out, and went over it, knew it by heart. Whereas Plaskett had to read it instead of speaking from the heart. She did have some crazy eyes going on as well.
