A few years ago (pre-scamdemic) when my wife was pregnant we saw a PA who was filling in for her normal OBGYN. The PA asked if we wanted a flu shot to which we politely declined. PA responds with “Well you know the only people who die from the flu are pregnant women and babies.” The whole staff and waiting room heard my response.
Yeah we switched to a midwife and I’m banned from ever setting foot in that place again.
Fast forward a few months postpartum, we ask pediatrician about vax ingredients, risks, autism links, etc. (There’s at least 3 vax shots they want to give a baby shortly after birth IIRC.) Dr got super defensive that we’d even ask and accused us of being AnTiVax. We’re done with corporate doctors. Private practice is the way to go. I always thought that stuff was for hippies, but now after the scamdemic I’m finding out the body’s natural defenses are pretty bad ass. It’s the unnatural causes of illness that we need to investigate further.

First part is correct, second part not really. While ercot doesn’t produce or move electricity, they do issue directives to the Transmission Operators (Oncor, Centerpoint, Brazos, AEP etc in TX) to shed their share of X amount of megawatts in order to preserve the integrity of the grid overall. In this case we’re talking about 20,000MW. Absolutely unprecedented. If the generators become overloaded they trip out on low frequency and it all cascades. So shedding load helps maintain frequency and/or alleviate overloaded elements.
The power companies do have somewhat of a say in that they have predetermined feeders they rotate in and out in order to not leave customers off for too long, think of it as a shared burden. Only hospitals, military, and EMS facilities aren’t effected by this. Everyone else is fair game, and was fair game, during these rotational outages.
TLDR: if people want someone to blame, blame the Obama Admin’s war on coal and shuttering power plants without a viable alternative.
Rotating feeder outages helps lessen the impact to everyone in general. Emergency services and hospitals are the last to go. It’s an effort to reduce the chance of a full on blackout. Demand tonight will be roughly 20,000 MW above capacity so we have to shed load to keep the frequency from deviating too far from 60Hz. If the generators become unstable everything cascades. The Obama admin had a big role in this with pricing coal plants out of existence and wind is too unstable. The next 24hrs will be critical

Other than that, you can talk to the district superintendent and principal. Some parents in my area blasted the school district last year constantly via Fakebook and it actually worked. Go to school board meetings and be heard. Take evidence you find here and elsewhere showing that all of this is senseless. Look into filing a lawsuit due to the violations of the HB referenced.
