Currently watching the Twin Lakes eagle cam on Trilight cable here in east Tennesee, channel 955. The little ones [three] have hatched and are getting big, or at least two of them are. The third one hatched late and is still small, but he looks like he's holding his own. Pretty cool, mom and dad bring them fish and even brought a rabbit up to the nest last week. They make quick work of it, that's for sure.
I'm wondering if I ever do get an avatar if they have a frog wearing a US Navy dixie cup white hat. That would be totally cool.

Funny how most people have no idea about the entire tape of that incident. King was originally pulled over by a female CHP officer, and he wasn't complying with her demands at all, so she drew her weapon. The LAPD got wind of this and made it to the scene and took over. King wasn't targeted - the police tactics were directed at keeping him down because he [being 6'6"] kept getting up, jacked up on alcohol and drugs, and he was almost superhuman at that point. Interesting how that never got out to the general public.
