Rope Barn! Love it. There's probably going to be a run at Rural King too. 😃

Great name, fren. By the way I have rope if you want to use it.

I noticed it got really quiet. I am not terribly religious, but I found his words inspiring. And right after he stepped down, the crowd broke into the national anthem as it was 9PM. That stuff gets me every time.

I caught that too. Interesting, I was listening to Nino the other night and he had Scott McKay on. They don't think too highly of DeSantis. You don't hear that too often, so I too wondered what happened.

He practically just announced that he's going to make the announcement, but we already knew that. He said he wants the focus on the candidates tonight. President Trump is a total class act. Prove me wrong.

I heard him mention the military in a way where one could intimate that he is referring to them stepping in if necessary. Little clues here and there, folks. Works for me.

I caught that too. Sounds actually like a good plan, even a RINO is better than a democrat in the short term, but when the hounds of hell are released, RINO's are toast if it goes according to Trump's plan.

Will do! I figure what the hey, we're gonna get in the Christmas spirit even if I'm a doofus for doing it 😃

I like Nino because he was once a boxer, and the dude is funny. I also take what he says with a grain of salt, because we really don't know what is going to happen Tuesday. I assume Dems will cheat desperately to retain their power, but Republicans will get out and vote in force. I also don't think patriots are going to stand for the "it's gonna take time to count the votes" bullshit. I've got my Smirnoff ready to go, I feel I'm going to need it.

Well, tomorrow is the one day of the year where I reserve the right to be stupid, as it is time to put up Christmas lights. About 90% of it is going to be a breeze, but the east-facing side of the house has a gable 28 feet up, so in order to reach the soffit I would have to use an extension ladder. So, what I've done for the past three years is just clip the C9's to the shingles on that side, which means I have to get in the roof and lay on my side. The pitch isn't that bad, but it requires balance. I thought about the ladder, but then I would be 28 feet in the air and I am 6'2" 300#. Ain't happening. But, on the bright side, one I get those sons of bitches up you would be able to see them for a mile. Then I could have a couple of vodka tonics afterward and admire my stupidity. The lengths we go to to decorate for the holidays :)

I can't deny that he is an intriguing individual, and he must play some part in the grand scheme of things, but whenever I listen to him I have to filter out his style and concentrate on the substance. Sometimes it is easy, sometimes not. The part I have difficulty coming to grips with is the notion that he is a representative for Trump and that he is relaying information using some sort of code or double-talk or whatever you want to call it. He seems like the type of guy you have over for dinner but then soon realize that any chance of a stimulating conversation or any points you bring up are going be met with "yeah, but" or something to that effect, and then you feel your words being turned against you, and the frustration level increases, etc.

Look, I have been here long enough to know that if people are going to come here and learn new information, they're probably not stupid. They can figure things out themselves. If people want to hang on this guy and extrapolate what they think he means, go for it. Just be aware that [maybe it's just me] this guy gives off a vibe that he is better than most people and that he is some sort of savant with all this "inside info." My own approach, not that it is worth a whole lot, is to listen to multiple sources and draw conclusions based on those sources, refining as I go along, and then formulate a new hypothesis and proceed from there. I understand he may play a role, but I would be remiss if I did not say that he doesn't know it all [no one does] and that he would be a lot more believable if he came across less arrogant but more genuine.

Yeah, my thoughts too. Just curious.

As of 8:23 PM EDT, he hasn't come on OANN yet. Newsmax doesn't have him either. Is there something going on, or was his flight delayed?

Not sure if this has been pointed out, but when the phrase Red October comes up, I instantly think of Red November. The Russian calendar does not jive with the one we use, or at least it didn't when the Russian Revolution occurred in 1917. Yes, October was eventful, but I see November as the tipping point.

Oh God, him again?! What an idiot. Haven't heard from him in a while, which is a good thing.

I agree. I found Juan interesting at first, but now he's like the housefly that lands on your TV screen, causing you to get up from a comfortable seat, grab the flyswatter, try to nail the son of a bitch, then the thing flies away and you can't find him. So, you return to your seat only to repeat the process after a few minutes. Ugh. I hear him [Juan] and the first thing I think of is "get to the fucking point!"
