I may not agree with Mormon beliefs, but they are allies. At least most of them.

You're onto the truth.

Most sleepers see other people as having the same sense of morals, ethics, and motivations. So of course your friend thinks CNN would change once the profits go down, because that's what your friend would do if he were in that situation.

What they fail to realize is that psychopaths exist, people devoid of morals and ethics.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

We should be able to trust the medical system to take care of us, but unfortunately they've proven themselves to be Big Pharma whores, so we can't.

It sucks, but we're all going to have to put on our big boy pants and handle this ourselves. If Ivermectin works, you'd better have some on hand. Don't believe that bullshit about how it's different for horses vs humans. It's the same chemical compound, but in a different delivery mechanism. And if I were to apply common sense, I'd say that if the delivery mechanism is proven safe for horses, it's very unlikely to be harmful to humans (how many substances are proven safe for horses, but harmful to humans? Probably none.)

If people are dying from the vax, remdesivir, and ventilators then I'm going to not be put in a position where I or my loved one would be required to take those. Life is more prescious.

I remember when RBG was reported as dead

And then the Democrats kept her on ice until the most opportune time to rally their voters

Cognitive Dissonance

That's what's going on. This man sees himself as a good person and a good pharmacist. He believes his chain, I think he said CVS, has an interest in helping people. And up until this point, he's had no reason to question that. People come in with all kinds of ailments and health conditions, he gives them medication, and they get better or at least stay alive.

Now this lady is asking questions. To his credit, he realizes that her questions are valid and legitimate, and he tries to answer them. But now he's confronted with evidence that he's been deceived. And that he's been fooled. And that a good pharmacist would have reviewed all of the safety information before dispensing anything.

His distress comes from this realization which challenges his own identity.

Also to his credit, he's handling it better than most people would.
