I stayed in an air bnb apartment last time I was there. Went to some of the local markets and wandered around neighborhoods.

Y'all need to get out more. Leave your little bubble and actually see the world for yourself lol

Which part?

I just spent some time in Mexico City and it might have been one of the best experiences I've had. Met another couple who had been living there for the past 6 months.

As someone who listens to liberal media, they’ve been talking about it for years too. It’s been so long that the conversation has worn down and it’s just a meme now. You see it pop up a lot but it’s been so long that the left got bored with it

Investigations and apprehensions. There's no question.

Will Ferrell and Bill Murray basically living out the rest of their lives, doing movies, having fun, going to parties, and eventually dying remembered as successful comedians is NOT what I want if they're involved, and that's exactly what's happening.

People have been talking about it for years

Since probably 2018

You think that the people scrubbing videos are any match for the people who can find and duplicate archived data? If there's one copy that got downloaded from the internet, then there's a billion. All a person has to do is upload another copy and it's immediately multiplied god knows how many times.

If the video exists, it's out there. The fact that it's been so long though isn't doing it for me

Yeah I get that response a lot, though it's also possible that the video never existed and perhaps you are mistaken.

It's notoriously difficult to completely remove something from the internet.

Okay but there's no video as you described here:

The video of the young men dancing and cheering as the plane hit the tower was a huge eye opener to me.

That's what I'm referring to. I'm not looking for some video of someone doing a voiceover of MSM news stories.

Kay so I guess we're back at square one when I said I've heard this supposed video of people celebrating dancing but I've never found it myself. Thanks for nothing, I guess hah

I’m gonna put a big bet here that there will not be any significant arrests today or even this week.

They're protesting at the dealerships by the looks of it. Doesn't seem to be anything about destroying what they already own

This is just a basic poster probably made in Adobe. It's not that advanced

Everything in reality is up for interpretation. Some things are clearer than others. That’s just the way it is. Sorry.

Lol nothing to apologize for. That's how reality is.

Religion, it seems, tries often to be above questioning. That's my issue with it, at its core.

You don’t know what is coming. I don’t know what is coming. We both know something is coming

Mmm, that depends on what we mean by "something." Do we mean a downfall? A reckoning? A destruction? Almost certainly. Everything dies on a long enough timeline, and, in some cases, is reborn.

Or do we mean some supernatural force? Cleansing? Second coming? I highly doubt it. Any demise that comes will surely be of our own doing.

People here have rediscovered fasting and it’s health benefits. Fasting came from Biblical commands, as if our creator knew what was good for us

Or, people back then also had seen health benefits from fasting. Keep in mind these are still real people who wrote these words, largely from their own experiences.

None of what you've said is anything I "dislike." I'm simply questioning it. I find the bible, and especially many who follow it, to be contradictory and the more I learn about it, the more I feel it's several disconnected words and ideas.

That to me has always been the inherent problem with religion for me. There are so many different interpretations of what is right and wrong, and it comes to the point where we create actual societal rules and regulations based on text that even the church can't agree on.

If, at the end of the day, you're the type of person who has their beliefs and just treats everyone with respect, loves thy neighbor and all that, then you're doing great!

Kind of a side tangent, but it's why I sometimes am skeptical when someone uses the bible as reasoning for what a person should and shouldn't do.
