There is the "fear of God"
If you're in Christ, you will never receive His wrath. If you're not in Christ, that's a different story.
But I'm pretty sure if any of us actually saw God in his fullness we would be frickin' terrified
Mm-hm. I forget which verse it is but there's a Scripture along the lines of "the proof of God is everywhere, there's no excuse for pretending you didn't notice". i.e. look up in the sky and notice all the stars...how did they get there? That's all you need.
I think what you're describing is more like adaptation, which is absolutely real (different skin colors, etc.)
evolution is the idea that humans (and animals) evolved from single-celled organisms, which makes no sense
Eh, I can believe people are born gay without believing that it should be lived out. Our flesh, which we were born with, wants to sin. We all have characteristics in our natural selves that are undesirable to God, whether it's of a sexual nature or more like selfishness or anger or something else. I'm a superstraight and I have desires that God doesn't approve of. We all make the choice whether to embrace our wicked flesh or surrender to God and let him change it. The interesting thing about gay people is that despite their perception, when we say their natural state is sinful, we're not singling them out. We're all in the same boat.
Yeah there was a funny video of some conservative group presenting "Trump" quotes to young liberals such as "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black", "I don't want my kids to grow up in a racial jungle" etc. and after watching them gag and decry Trump for being racist, they explained that the quotes were actually from Biden
And the libs didn't believe them. They had to pull up the videos
I didn't grow up in church - actually the opposite. I'd only stepped foot in one a handful of times until I was 19 and wandered into a local church out of curiosity. Never looked back.
I don't know what your situation was - whether you had bad experiences in the church or just lost interest - but I can tell you that once you develop a real relationship with God and He becomes like a father and a spouse and a best friend to you all at once, you will never look back. You'll live in that peace and joy you've been missing.
Are you looking for an honest answer, or are you just here to shill? I'm happy to give you a serious opinion if you want one.
But I'm not a hardcore Q believer so I could only tell you about my opinion on people "waking up" in the sense of no longer believing what the MSM tries to force-feed us. Which in some ways lends itself to Q, but not necessarily.
If you need an aide (no certification, but willing to learn), I'd be happy to help
