I believe that we have most of what we could comprehend is in the Word of God for now.. Jesus said there is everlasting life. So you will be reunited with your loved ones. Absolutely. It isn't so much that they hide, God though, it is more that they hide Jesus. They mistranslated our Bibles over and over and over again to take him away from us. It is probably the worst thing they have done to the world. Jesus is our salvation and our way forward. Mormon, Jehovah witness and Jews don't believe that Jesus is God when it is written all over the Bible.
Jesus's parent were Joseph and Mary. Joseph means God will add, Mary means bitterness and rebelliousness and Jesus means salvation. I believe that we have most of what we could comprehend is in the Word of God for now.. Jesus said there is everlasting life. So you will be reunited with your loved ones. It also says 2 Corinthians 5;8 absent from the body present with the Lord. Take heart in the Word. You need to pray on this that you are focusing on the negative. There is plenty of positive and uplifting things that God has in store for us. I once heard a Pastor put it this way, He had asked the Lord for more answers and knowledge. The Lord answered with an illustration of a large bowl of fruit held up to his mouth and if he tried to eat from the bowl that was filled it would spill all over and he wouldn't be able to consume much of it. Much like the knowledge of God we wouldn't be able to comprehend all he has for us.

Make friends with your fear of dying. To my mind, the fear it generates in your body acts as an obstruction to your direct connection to God.

As for dying, I can tell you to not be afraid. I've been there a few times, and it's the most peaceful feeling you'll ever feel. Slow, golden, slipping.
That said, even I "fear" dying still. It's a scary prospect to our flesh, hardwired. But once you're on the way over the threshold, it's all Peace.
It's called faith for a reason. You must believe Christ died for your sins and that you are saved. The proof is all around us and written in His Word.

These rationalists only believe what they can see or sense. But we know there were phenomena we can’t sense, nor could our machines sense, until the technology was developed. Who is to say that there are 10 or 100 or 1,000 more phenomena we can’t detect?
The thought experiment I like to use is this: Are dinosaurs real? Probably, but how do you KNOW? I can show you some big old bones. Does that prove that dinosaurs are real? There are lots of things I could do to make you think a certain way.
Suppose for a moment that science has been slowly, methodically built up as a religion for 500 years by a secret society bent on destroying Christianity. The scientific process is good and a real way to explore the world around us. But science has morphed into a religion with a doctrine, canon, clergy and adherents.
