I reckon it's because they take personal responsibility for themselves and are motivated towards individualism, unlike leftards who are all about collectivism and group identity.
HA that's hilarious.
In response to your comment about shitting where you eat, well, in my case it was on the company chat (Slack). Before the election, some people made a channel that was made "particularly for discussion around topics of the US election" (we're not from the US so I can't really see why they care anyway).
So we'd been happily discussing a bunch of innocuous things, but when the steal went down I made a couple of comments basically saying WTF and how this is ridiculous. But my TDS coworkers were loving it, saying how finally the 'tyrant' was out and how it was obvious Biden was going to win, etc.
Then on Jan 6th one of them said "Things just go from bad to worse. Trump supporters aren't just awful people, they're fucking terrorists".
It was soon after that that I got hauled into a meeting and told to stop talking about "race and privilege" because people were getting uncomfortable. So as you can imagine I was like WTF you guys started this channel and said that this was the place to discuss it. The boss was like "Just think about what you say before you say it". I was like "This other guy just called all Trump supporters fucking terrorists, what are you going to do about that?" and that's when they ended the meeting.
Japan has had some guidelines from the start: you're to avoid the "Three Cs" as they call them in English.
- Confined/enclosed spaces
- Crowded places
- Close-contact settings
So as far as I can tell outside is a free-for-all, which I'm gladly taking advantage of. The normies still wear their masks everywhere though. It's kind of sad because more and more people are saying they hate it but don't want to be the odd one out. I've seen people go jogging with so much headgear they look like they're auditioning for a role as a Daft Punk stunt double. They're breathing so hard the mask does a vacuum seal on their face giving them a kind of facial camel toe. I just want to slap them and say take it off you fool!!
My boss sent a multiple paragraph email about this issue but he cleverly framed it in a way that you can’t really argue with: “I don’t like it, I’m not going to use it, I know I can’t stop you from using it and I won’t get mad if you do, but I’m just letting you know.” ?♂️
Later on I got hauled into a meeting and told that I was making people uncomfortable with things I’d been saying re: “race and privilege”. I closely inspected my messages and I had said nothing about that. I HAD however been commenting (the only one doing so) about the election steal and the gene therapy jab. Seems one of the normies in my office took offence and instead of debating it with me, went over my head and complained to the boss.
Wow I wasn’t aware the government had said you must wear a mask outside. I don’t think that’s a thing here in Japan. I’ve certainly not been hassled for not wearing a mask outside!
Hey man I live in Japan (I think you replied to a comment of mine a few months ago). I face a similar thing, where everyone over here is like culturally pressured into wearing masks all the freakin’ time.
Well it was hot the other day and when I took my kids to the park I saw a lady not wearing her mask, so when my kid asked her kid to play together, we started chatting (I’m maskless cos I’m outside duh).
I said how strange it feels to see a Japanese person without a mask, and she was like “oh I fucking hate these things!” It really gave me hope. I bet as the summer continues more and more will realise it’s fuckin stupid.
I tried going to the twitter page for @kanekoathegreat and it says their account has been suspended.
Well coincidentally I just found this as well:
A town in western Japan has been flooded with complaints and threatening phone calls over its program for administering coronavirus vaccinations to people between the ages of 12 and 15.
Amid the massive backlash against the COVID-19 vaccination program that started the previous day, the town of Ine in Kyoto Prefecture on Monday closed its call center for inquiries and consulted with police.
According to the town, people who called the center were critical of the vaccination plan, saying there were risks for children receiving COVID-19 vaccinations and that young women could become infertile as a result of the shots.
So it's good to know that not all of them are happy to go along with the murder plans.
With regards to being neurotically obedient conformists, I don't disagree at all. I've been told by people that they are going to get the vaccinations just because they don't want to be "that person" at their workplace who doesn't, fearing bullying or whatever else typical of such a homogeneous society. The weird thing is that when I talk to people individually they express that they do have concerns and some of them say they want to wait, but that feeling gets beaten out by the desire to not be the odd one out.
They all wear masks all the time, too. Even when they're outside in the sun, walking by themselves in the park. Although this isn't too surprising because they wore masks when they were sick even before covid. Now it's just ramped it up to extreme levels.
It's not necessarily surprising that some people are against it, because actually Japan has a quite high level of vaccine hesitancy due to some history with HPV vaccines in the past.
Oh man I had this idea a while ago. Why do we have to pay a premium for brand items only to become a walking advertisement for them? If anything we should get a discount for wearing the branded stuff!
I remember being told that “brain storming” was no good anymore and had to be replaced by “blue skying”. Something about the mentally handicapped people’s brains being incapable of “storming”.
Isn’t it pretty likely that heaps of us have actually caught the coof and just not realised? I’ve had a cold in the last two years, maybe that was it. Or I was just asymptomatic. I think if anyone actually asks me if I got the mRNA injection I’ll just say I caught the actual virus.
Jokes on you, I'm already turned on
Since the vax turns your body into a factory for the coronavirus spike protein, there seems to be evidence for people’s bodies to be emitting these proteins, and they are affecting people they come into contact with.
My 4 yo daughter insists on wearing one outside in the park because her best friend’s parents make HIM wear one, and she wants to be like him.
It shits me, but she’s 4 so it’s not like I can’t win this argument.
I feel like this is good advice. I believe that whatever your brain hears, even if it’s from yourself, it believes on some level. Like your brain just accepts everything at face value, and only after consciously thinking about it can it decide if it’s really true or not.
So negative self-talk is terrible because just hearing those words is enough for your brain to believe them, at least a little bit. Ditto for positive things.
I can’t remember her name but I recall a video of a woman advising looking in the mirror once everyday and saying “I am enough”.
Two words: personal responsibility
You can just see it coming, right? Next “flu” season, people start dropping like flies. Oh it’s a new variant they’ll say. Here’s your new vaccine, they’ll say, amid more lockdowns and travel bans.
I honestly don’t know how we’re going to know the truth. All I can imagine is that the unvaxxed will be statistically in way better health/not dying as much. But the MSM will surely put their spin on it regardless of what happens. Ffs why is the world so shit now.
Same in Japan man. The funny thing is that as soon as you sit down at a table in a cafe or restaurant, suddenly covid stops existing!! Everyone sits around and eats and talks maskless. Then they get up and whoa whoa suddenly it’s covid time again, masks back on or you get the STARE OF SHAME.
It broke my heart the other day - I took my 4yo daughter to the park. She and I both maskless of course. Her best friend from preschool shows up in a mask. My daughter asks me to get her mask so she could be like her friend. I tell her no, kids don’t need them, plus you’re outside, don’t worry about it. “But <friend> is wearing one!!!” she cried.
Sorry darling, cry all you want, you ain’t getting one.
I live in Japan where mask-wearing while sick was already culturally normalised. But now it is everyone, all the time. Doesn't matter if they're outside, by themselves, in the car, whatever, everyone has it on all the time. I'm not Japanese, but I'll tolerate putting it on when going into a private establishment if they ask. As soon as I'm outside I take it off, and I don't bother putting it on my young kids.
My point is that the stares and shaming that takes place if you don't have a mask on are pretty intense. As a foreigner there's probably a degree of hand waving like "oh stupid foreigner, whatever, probably doesn't speak Japanese so I'll just stew on this quietly", so I don't really encounter it all that much. My Japanese friends and family are really sensitive to it though. Like they all say that they think masks probably do very little or even nothing, but they wear it because they don't want to be stared at or told off. Or they say it's to make other people feel at ease - they don't want the normies worrying about their close encounter to an unmasked person.
Some real big ones today! Thanks
Dr Ryan Cole! His videos were great. He did a follow up talk about children and covid and my interpretation of what he said was that kids DO NOT need this vaccine. He didn’t just come out and say it obviously but he basically explained the data so we can make an informed choice, and my choice is that no one in my family will be taking this experimental therapy.
The definition of “a man” grows to include you.
Coincidentally, this is the kind of thing that made me laugh when people accused Trump of being “unpresidential”. All I could say was “well he’s the president, so if anything the definition of ‘presidential’ has to grow to include the things he does.”
Nice! You’re a badass, fren! ?
I managed to half red-pill my mum with excerpts from the VAERS data and some of the AstraZeneca news. My dad however is totally brainwashed and despite having a freaking autoimmune disease and being generally in poor health as he gets older, he says he’s LINING UP for the covid shot and the flu shot.
He spends all his time watching the MSM and is absolutely terrified of covid. I’m more worried he’s going to die from the vaccine, or worse, be in pain or otherwise uncomfortably debilitated such that he’ll wish he was dead.
That’d be nice but my Aussie friend is saying he will get the jab “for sure” because “it seems to be doing wonders for the US” and because “we all have a responsibility to contribute to the herd immunity”.
Seems he’s looking at the US and considering it a total success
