Erm....

I agree with you on the cloud seeding. That is real.

I was saying there is no 'weather modification net' like on star trek. LOL

The spinning mirrors comment was from the movie Real Genius. Val Kilmer's character "Chris Knight" is working on a laser in University. His buddy later points out that with a mirror and targeting system it can be used as a weapon. So the heroes repurpose it from a weapon of assassination to... a giant popcorn popper. :D :D

I wasn't suggesting it was 'real'. in a literally sense.

Just that things have been repurposed.

Can't think of anything that has been done by heroes that makes ya want popcorn?

That's all i was saying.

Weather modification (cloud seeding) is real.

Weather modification net is just start trek.

We can use s space laser to start a fire though.

"All you need is a tracking system and a large spinning mirror and you can vaporize a human target from space."

Nah, we would never build that.

Outside beauty fades with time and age. But MAGA beauty shines from deep within, a reflection of the soul whos brightness can't be tarnished.

Got it. So, imma learn more Spanish, embed myself with a group of undocumented immigrants, and get free rifles and ammo. 🀣

That's the great thing about it though. You can say "screw this new version" and enjoy an earlier version. One of our crew still runs 2nd edition, so the joke is on the company. T$R, WotC, Hasbro - doesn't matter who owns it, or how woke they go. They don't own the hobby, the hobbyists do.

Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take my D&D.

Ukraine messes with nuclear power, nobody bats an eye.

Russia needs some Americium-241 or some other alpha emitter for some detectors and everyone loses their minds and goes nuclear.

What if Harris legit chose Walz because she likes what he is about, what he stands for, and his worldview matches hers?

I find that possibility almost MORE comical and disturbing!

Money, power, sex, and drugs.

If you have one and know how to leverage it, you can get the other three.

Subcategories of weaponry, physical resources, human resources, charisma, and secrets.

M. Night taught us to look for the real world version of comic book personas within film and media. He did so with the film 'unbreakable'.

I think Elon falls into this trope:

I think he has faced (or is facing) his destiny choice.

This guy glows brighter than Alexander Litvinenko in a Radium watch dial factory.

"John" or "Mr. Cullen" There are those who know people who work with him at his day job.

I know the base government salary sucks, but at least the benefits package includes a Cadillac medical plan and free eye care, right?

Zealotry is poison.

If you'll indulge me just a bit.

"HAPPeNING"

Lower case e? Not important. That gives us:

"HAPPNING"

Amazingly (or not), there are no good anagrams of 'HAPPNING'.

However, if you consider book titles?

"NAPPING H." - a quick search returns a children's book titled:

"The Napping House"

And what might be the plot of said children's book?

"A grenny [grandmother], child, and their pets nap during a rainstorm until a wakeful flea creates a chaotic wake up call."

Parallels? Naw, that's pure coincidence!

Need a little more?

Published: 1984

Need moar?

Author: Aubrey Wood.

Etymology of Aubrey? It's derived from 'Ruler'. A story written by someone in charge?

Even more?

Illustrated by: Don Wood

Donald Wood - Donald would? What would he do? Illustrate the story? To help it be seen and understood by 'children'? A story about awakening to chaos during a storm? Or perhaps even moving pictures, like this damn movie we're all watching.

The purpose of the book is to help children understand patterns. Not a repeating pattern. A growing pattern.

Also just worth tossing out there: the author grew up in Florida, and had friends in the circus. 🀑

Enjoy the show.

Gotta hand it to Trump. He's never afraid walking into the lion's den.

That's why I've been laughing over the "Trump is scared of debating Harris" headlines. Like, REALLY? C'mon man!
