Thanks for the insight. Yes I'm already planning to go low carb (right now I'm basically a carb junkie) and focus on real food.
I do 16/8--5 p.m. to 9 a.m. It eliminated my prime snacking time which was in the evening.
What about triglycerides?
Sounds good, will try! Is there any particular fish oil I should take--I get confused with the Omega 3 vs. Omega 6 and now there something called Omega 9! Which one is good?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK279600/ Article on effect of levothyroxine on subclinical hypothyroidism.
My TSH was at 5.4 last November. I found a NIH (I know) article that concluded there was really no benefit to treating subclinical hypothyroidism. I had no symptoms as far as I could tell. I'll see if I can find the article and link it for you.
Sure looks like it. I was under the assumption that all salt was iodized, but when I checked what I was using it didn't have iodine. So I switched that out, not that I use a lot of salt anyway. Someone on the board said that elements like bromine (in bread) and fluorine (in water) can displace iodine in your system. Fortunately I have well water so no fluoridation, and I switched to a non-fluoridated toothpaste (Tom's of Maine, bonus: cruelty-free) and I don't eat a lot of bread anyway. So I think I'm good on that front.
What I'm taking is Nature's Way Whole Thallus kelp, it's 600 mg per serving (1 capsule) which contains 270 mcg iodine and 35 mg sodium. I take it once a day. I got it off Amazon.

You'll be in my prayers.
You and your family will be in my prayers.
Last Saturday our house lost internet, cell phone and landline phone all at once. All different providers. I was really wondering if this was it. Guess not.
There was a very large donation to the Trump Rally shooting victims gofundme by a "catherine oxenberg." I was wondering if it was the actress. So there is a Trump connection.
I feel your pain. I donated to Trump prior to the 2020 election and finally had to nuke my Yahoo e-mail because I was receiving so much campaign spam it made the account unusable. I wish they had an option to decline further e-mail or mail messages when you donate. Honestly it's a real turn off and keeps me from donating now.
He'll be in my prayers.
Your family will be in my prayers.
Here's some predictive programming for all of you: prior to the 1950s, the main commercial banana variety was one called Gros Michel which is French for Big Mike. Big Mike, banana, get it? Lol.
Good to know. I plan to keep taking the kelp (iodine) supplement anyway.
