well, bit by bit, just like these "ladies" (the feminists I originally mentioned) they are waking up.

I have moved to a new community and it is mostly comfortable conservatives. Atleast they admit they are naive and can't wrap their heads around the life I lived in a blue state.

but you are right. something like that.

When I see this, I feel great remorse. I voted for 2 of them -- never protested the wars, never cared enough about politics to really look at what was going on. Russia has to tell me what my country has done to the world, and by doing nothing, I feel complicit.

A couple of days ago I saw some full on liberal women FINALLY upset with their party because it was FINALLY impacting them personally. I judged harshly. abortion okay, false rape accusations at college okay, discrimination against cis gendered white men okay.... but now that scholarships and bathroom privacy is on the line (and the safety of female prisoners in jail) -- they care.

How am I any different to have been so blase about our government wars and did NOTHING. rarely do I feel guilt. My failure to do NOTHING for decades is something I owe God an apology for.

Bless all of you for making this site available and it's purpose: to wake us up.

oh, i just responded to the actual quote-- imagine the cabal offering the metaverse-- the freedom to do as you like and getting trapped because real life is too painful. really, it's just a different addiction (the metaverse). as we indulge our need for pleasure (what we like) we become trapped by it. When we transcend the need to be comfortable, we are truly free. the path to that disengagement (from pleasure) is through duty. Bonus ~ the oughts usually include things that protect people from being actually enslaved by evil doers.

I love this quote.

For we all know, if want drives a man, he will be trapped in the endless pursuit of what he "likes."

But if duty drives a man, he will do whatever it takes, LIKE IT OR NOT, to protect his freedom as well as his tribe's freedom.

Duty first, pleasure second.

You need to find a partner (husband) who is willing to support his family. Your job is to streeeeetch that dollar with your domestic skills and raise the kids. And yes, keep him happy. His job is to keep you happy. When you love someone, you want to do what makes both of you happy. choose well :).

YES. I started as a co-earner and ended up as the sole breadwinner (my liberal partner couldn't figure it out). Needless to say, I regret the years I missed with my kids, tho I do feel I was doing God's work (atleast sometimes). Eventually, I kicked him to the curb because you know, I couldn't fund his secret life and what not anymore.

Meeting my conservative toxic male husband was the best damn thing to ever happen to me and the kids. We are all very close and because of the current state of things, we are building a new life together, even tho they are adults.

Thank the Lord that Bible thumper was so handsome! (still is).

So happy for you that you have figured that out. And honestly, the poor and working class mothers often had to work outside the home-- but the push push push to get all women in the work force and CAREER minded, imho, is what ripped the family apart and separated women from their children. There weren't enough women at home to help out because Betty needed to work to put food on the table or keep the business afloat.

My mother had to go to work to feed us after I was born (mid 60s) and we were closer than any of my older siblings. I agree it is best to have a stay at home MOM -- especially now (past 30 or 40 years) as the school system has been brainwashing our kids knowingly or not.

congratulations on your newest adventure!

why have I never heard him denounce the christians (or non christians) being persecuted in other countries for their faith?

If he has denounced anyone for persecuting christians, does he continue to pound the drum or is it a one off here and there?

Wow. oh, I'm sorry. my bad. i thought we were conversing. tell someone she's been duped and expect her to say yea, okay, you are correct.

you're entitled to be wrong. I don't have a problem with that.
