there is something so ..... mmmm..... out of synch to see a grandmother fight for the right to end a baby's existence.

Hedonism defines the liberal mindset. Muh feelings. Go off with ppl who are pro pedo and pro abortion, and lack the essential "toxic males" to protect your resources during tough times.

even in cases of rape and incest -- you can put that baby up for adoption or keep it.

agree with great power comes great responsibility. the power to grow a person is a pretty damn large bit of power.

Eh? just a voice of support for Burt_Williams summary. Easy enough to copy and paste -- I would but that seems like plagiarism.

i can't get to the link but the sad fact is you are talking to sociopaths and you probably already know that.

thanks for saying that. have probably had more engagement and updoots on this post (tho i rarely check updoots) than anything i've ever posted.

thank you for your willingness to share your position. I was an agnostic for years (defined as I don't know what God is, but he probably is something) and after exploring quantum physics, energy and that sort of thing, my mind was changed.

You might appreciate the guy who experimented on trees with a lie detector. He found that essentially they have an energetic response to our intentions. i think his last name was baxter or bartholemew.... something like that.

trees are cool by any measure :)

oh, I wonder if you can start big picture with them? "how do we know what is right, what is good, what is moral?"

I learned how messed up my son was on that front when he started spouting relative morality. Pretty damn hard pill to swallow given his knowledge of the evil some of his family has been on the receiving end of.

I have tried being both student and teacher as we move forward.... it's difficult but I think we've made progress as conflict has gone up and down.

ha ha! we talk to nature and its inhabitants, we pray to god.

just came across research (last evening) about a guy who started experimenting with lie detectors on plants. fascinating stuff!

my husband is a tree guy, has brought many to fruition from a seed or a fallen baby branch, that sort of thing.

thanks for the info!

this truth makes it really hard to even be in the same room with anyone who is pro biden, pro democrat -- whatever.

the NSFW is not to prevent upsetting anyone. It is to let you know that you or someone around you might have really strong feelings about what you are about to see. Work is not the place for that.

The entire DNC agenda operates to exploit people's emotional state. They use shock and pain to confuse and deflect.

If you can't wrap your head around someone being unprepared to see that pic --for a multitude of reasons -- then maybe you should be attacked. Sounds like your feelings are hurt for being told you're wrong.

my son who is now 19 has struggled with our values for the past 4 or 5 years. He has recently softened -- it helps that we moved to the midwest to atleast show him there are others who atleast find certain liberal values abhorrent.

do you think it is time for a heart to heart? have you ever had a conversation about her values? What she believes is true and why?

the sacrifices our forefathers (and foremothers) made to start a life is truly amazing. My grandfather was the first u.s. born of his siblings -- the first 12 born in portugal. they were fruit pickers. still trying to figure out my white privilege ;)

my mother's nana was an (indentured?) servant from Sweden at the age of 12. came here not knowing the language and working as a maid from the start.

astronomical leap. i am always amazed at how many words some people require to understand the concept being conveyed.

I think normally that is true, but survey_girl is right -- in that when it first started circulating, that was the story.
