I got the distinct impression that NF has become disillusioned with (and rightfully so) how too many political players have morphed into anti-American, agenda-driven agents of anyone but the Americans they're supposed to be representing. Over time he's seen the political machinery change for the worse and probably with that newly-installed beast (Spanberger) it's not going to improve in VA until she's ousted. This guy's heart is most definitely in the right place and in a couple decades, assuming the general populace has woken up to reality, his personality may be well-suited to higher office. Afaik (and I have not followed him since he started in politics) he's served his political role nobly, with honor and a true sense of doing what's best for the people in his state.
Right now and probably for a good decade we need brash, roaring lions like our beloved PDJT who can tear through the nasty layers of corruption and evil embedded in government and society - imho. Also imho in a decade or so the current media apparatus of control and censorship ought to be pretty well decimated (or so I pray) so the general populace won't be getting a constant diet of matrix BS and lies. The lefties aren't seeing people like Mr Freitas because Team Evil is making sure the lemmings aren't exposed to truth and reality.
He decided to not run for reelection, probably why his last post - perhaps from his government account. I watch several of his videos so don't have exact sauce for this. He's decided to impact youth going forward by switching focus from political issues to family-Christian ones, will be speaking on these types of things going forward. He said youth were coming up to him at his public speaking engagements, asking him "role model questions" (my term) - how to be a better Christian in today's world, a good family man, father, husband, etc. He also just released a book about being a man (things you should know how to do, roles, advice, etc if I'm not mistaken). Edit -- the title "THE MANBOOK A Point-By-Point Guide to Sucking It Up and Getting the Job Done" .
As far as the move (and I just saw a funny short he did on this yesterday), I'm guessing that not needing to be entangled in VA state politics as he was, he and his wife have opted for a new location.
Edit: if I dig up sauce I'll update this. Basically, he's getting out of politics and segueing into making an impact in other areas.

Edit3: (3 days later). He didn't say it was his last post; he said it was his last post from that home (because they sold it and are moving). Not sure anyone will see this, but wanted to add his comment on it.
Whether he died at all is still a question, too many questionable "sources" and the whole thing sounds hinky. I've seen false stories be flooded on the Internet before in the same manner, but not recently. Very sad if he died, but if so he did not commit suicide. Too many crazy scientist/ufo incidents recently and well beyond a matter of coincidence.
I agree he's "odd", tend to think of it as "spirited", but he's got a very peaceful soul, not the type to turn desperate overnight. Witness protection ploy as he's likely gotten death threats and living in a tiny town that may have been an option for him. Just tossing out theories here. Will wait a couple -few days to see how this pans out.
Certainly my hope. He's got a big release coming up this weekend if I'm not mistaken - The Disclosure.
Lots of never-heard-of-before "news" sites, Facebook, instagram accounts "reporting" this, but also what looks like local/Boulder, CO news. I've only seen one (MSN so...) main outlet mention this, am waiting for for him to come out and make a statement like "The reports of my early demise are greatly exaggerated".

Very sad news. Just dug this up, from 2 days ago and I've watched ~12 minutes so far. Start at the 11:00 minute mark when he says he's thankful to be alive, that scientists are being killed and disappearing, etc. I've seen several of his shows (or at least partially as they're long) and I'm thinking he did NOT commit suicide.
