Pharma reps are a good place to look as well. Look up Hard Sell: the Evolution of a Viagra Salesman by Jaime Reidy. really eye-opening, and an easy read, thankfully.

...I prefer this map, personally...

(sorry for catbox link, I know from first-hand experience it doesn't always play nice with vpns...)

sorry, just wanted to pop back in and point out: we know she's lying about carrying a gun now...

Because, let's face it, as pissed as she was, if she'd had a gun, she'd be our first mass shooter vice president...

I've been calling it outrage addiction... it does seem to be a social contagion spread online...

well, we learned some information today... she forces a smile when she's upset, not that's a surprise, but it would be interesting to see how often that "smile" appears in other appearances (rallies, interviews, press conferences, etc).

yeah, not a problem. like I said, I wasn't crapping on it, I'm just looking at it from an effectiveness perspective.

I'm glad to see Americans doing what we should, namely take care of our own, not because of the government, be in spite of it.

impossible to refute

...almost seems naive, given the cultish nature of the left right now...

I wish they had just filmed him while he helped people. I get the idea, but the flashy, fast editing style of this can be a little off-putting, and can come off as exploitative...

please note: I'm not criticizing Gen. Cody or samaritan's purse. they're clearly doing what they can and helping people, I'm just saying the stylized editing can be counterproductive.

still, happy to see Americans helping Americans! go get em boys!

...Honestly, kamala could have had a long career as a senator if she kept her head down and her mouth shut, but like any good career politician, she wanted to be president.

It's the top rung of the ladder for these types, and they all want it.

shame somebody else had their bumper fucked up because of this idiot, though. hope there's no lasting injuries (even with a low speed collision, whiplash and neck injuries are a thing...)

what I find interesting is that it peaked in or around 1976 (depending on a couple of factors, including how often it was polled for, which seems to be every four years, right alongside presidential elections).

It's a shame we don't have more granular data, or else we might be able to see what factor/factors led to the decline. It's too early to be the internet, and too late to be vietnam or JFK (although it could be a delayed effect).

my best guess is it may have had something to do with watergate/nixon.

Depending on what the lawyers advise, I'd say take it to court, drive it up to SCOTUS if you have to. they'll pivot to other excuses, obviously, but forcing it into the light is necessary, and the transparent nature of it might even force them to back-pedal.

just so we're clear, I'm not a vet (animal or military).

don't want stolen valor, but I gotta admit, the old jungle camo looks a lot nicer.

forest camo

...shame the army uses that shitty digicam nonsense now, but kudos to the madlad (lady? lass?) who came up with this all the same, lol.

we really should have local meetups... not just for politics, but just to hang out, shoot the shit, network, all that good nonsense, lol.

could be, but the "october surprise" is a general term for waiting until right before the election to drop a bomb shell, so keep that in mind.

Also, trust but verify, at this point, the only evidence I see is a vague allegation, and we don't want to be caught with our pants down.
