I have a question....besides a Republic, what other kind of govt could we have had?....a republic really depends on the honor, integrity and good will and patriotism of its people and their leaders...

This looks increasingly like a fig leaf Congress will use as cover to convince us that they are interested in exposing election fraud and are giving Trump a fair hearing. It may also be an escape hatch in case they are mobbed by pro-Trump supporters on the 6th. Could this be the 10 days of darkness? In the end, i'm expecting nothing will come of the audit, and the military will be our final hope.
What's more likely is that a ton of people show up on the 6th. Most will eventually leave as the convenings drag on. The stragglers will clash with Antifa/BLM throughout dc until the 20th.
