Their outlets was bought by Univision Media shortly after, only to be later sold to a new company G/O media that started going under in 2019
Gawker was sued for posting hogan's sex tape, not gamergate. I read the article you posted, so I'm on board with the timeline. Looking into the cause of those layoffs, I'm seeing management change problems with the sale to G/O media. The entire deadspin staff resigned in protest a little over 6 months after the article you posted was written. It wasn't a gamergate thing.

I have yet to see dtv ever report something that was inaccurate. They are now my primary source for reliable breaking news.

No it's not, America is dead as of 1/6/21. And the citizens that reside in this empty shell of a republic are too weak to stand up. Patriots have been branded as extremists, the enemy of the people. Please correct me where I'm wrong so I can feel better about this. I don't WANT to be a doomer, but this situation is looking pretty hopeless without military intervention in the next couple days.
It's funny we don't believe the media but we do believe it when they say nearly half of America trusts them. I would think that number is way too high and put out by the very people who are distrusted.
