I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff, but the plane is a P-8A and I was watching it because I thought it was a peculiar flight path for a sub hunter. It flew from Florida up to Pennsylvania and the back down to Florida without ever landing or getting near the ocean, and it maintained an altitude of 35000 ft. the whole time. It probably isn't important, I just thought it was interesting. There were like 4 sub hunters flying around down in Florida and people were watching them this morning. Really I only mentioned it because it had the same number in the callsign as the OP 's plane. Probably just coincidence, I just thought it was interesting.
There's something oddly intriguing about watching air traffic... I live by the air force academy so there are planes and jets flying around here all the time. There's also a couple Air Force bases nearby.
You all got me into watching flights, and I happened to watch this unmarked flight from outside Mar-A-Lago to the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. Seemed like something you'd be interested in seeing!
i just posted about the r135 i tracked last night....left Offut AFB, same as this plane, and landed in Tampa...same as this plane. also it changed call signs mid flight. r135 are recon and basically a mobile spy unit.
I'm sure the marines also have people all over the place, but given that it was a small craft, flying unmarked, with FOX836 (8+3+6=17), going from <1 mile from Mar-A-Largo to a Marine base, it seemed like something worth noticing.
WOW...ok last night i tracked a r135 from Offut AFB to the gulf coast, somewhere over mississippi it changed its call sign, then saw this am it eventually landed in .....TAMPA.
r135's primary job is recon and real time surveilllance....very interdasting..
FOX836
8+3+6 = 17
... mother of God...
bro u guys see anything and it automatically means something.
I was channeling that guy from Super Troopers, fwiw.
? I'm already pulled over!
Starting right meow?
Meow, what seems to be the problem?
The snozzberries taste like snozzzberries
I was watching a different plane that had 836 in its callsign here. Curiously it did a couple circles as it passed Durham, NC.
IIRC, circles aren't a big deal. Either gaining or losing altitude, or a holding pattern, waiting for a runway to clear.
Clarification?

Good spotting though! ?
I thought of getting into it too, my wife would kill me though, already spend too much time on GAW.

F=6
O=15
X=24
.
6 + 15 + 24 = 45
.
45 * 17
Oh, that’s good.

You're right - it is very interesting - thank you. :)

Wrong.
The USMC (Marines) have people only in three places.
Place 1. Here. Place 2. There. Place 3. Everywhere else.
You'll notice that "all over the place" is not listed as a USMC deployment area.
Hahaha!
Given the variance in airspeed and altitude with trajectories, I'd say dogfight/evasion practice?
Radar jamming.
What about it?
over Kansas? are you shitting me? This is awesome! When was this flight?
Today around 11:30 local time, 12:30 EST.
i got on the app and checked it out. thanks!
so many Kansas references...

they could be flying it for maintenance, aircrafts need to be flown regularly.
no indication of aircraft size.
Parris Island Marine Corps base a short drive over from the Marine Airbase in Beaufort

Trumpforce-1?
Single engine plane with landing speed less than 136 MPH. Unlikely to be anyone of great importance.
Trump is more likely to have gone out of M-a-L on the C17 as per monkeywerx.
Present location unknown but not at M-a-L.
My guess would be Camp David but only a guess. Could be Cheyenne Mountain.
WOW just wow
