Notice some particular types of planes that there are suddenly quite a few of, the same kind that you used to see a few of when only seeing mil planes...
More than one of the same type out from the same location at the same time.....
If they're military they can pretend to be whatever they want to be. Remember Trump flew into Afghanistan and no one knew he was coming because the plane said it was a gulf stream. They can be anything they want to be as long as it fits the radar cross section and all of the flight data matches..

I tracked a few flights last night that went dark. “TEAM55” pair of extenders that disappeared off the east coast about 250 miles. A “SAM” flight leaving Tampa going north out over the Atlantic and I caught another aircraft descending into Cuba from El Cajon, all of these flights popped off flight following.
I have been watching for 3 weeks and I really hate to be the one...but other than a few days before inauguration this was normal. I thought the same thing as you at one point. Seems normal this time.

Good idea. I started a journal on Monday this past week. I intend to make some notes every day and look back on it years from now. Also my grandkids can read it when they are older.

Average has been approx 4 during that time. Only before the inauguration did I see a jump.
