Just some "weekend funnies" for the Q patriots and repurposed this old comic. Qudos to you if you're "old" enough to remember Bloom County.

I organized a peaceful protest against my local newspaper when the editor (fascist) pulled Bloom County from the paper claiming it was too controversial! We had a large turnout with people picketing carrying signs of Bill the Cat saying "ack!" Plus other wonderful artwork...so much fun!
We were successful and widely supported in our community and Bloom County was back in the paper. Good 'ol Berkley Breathed...a Texas boy!
Absolutely. My formative years budding into the teen years, Bloom County shaped my outlook and sense of humor for decades to come. It's epic that the original strip's run ended on the storyline of Donald Trump's brain inhabiting BIll the Cat's body.
BB resurrected the strip online a few years ago but he's too much more woke now and less libertarian than the 80s.

Yup. Bloom County was awesome while it lasted. Berke Breathed was the cartoonist if I remember correctly. I still remember Bill the cat and Opus. Good times.
