I revere the Word of God and look to Him for strength and guidance. I fear what may happen to those who do not repent and follow His teachings. I pray continuously for my own forgiveness and open my heart to Jesus. In my experience, building a relationship with God is a journey that requires patience, faith and devotion. Remain steadfast! God is listening.
I fear for no man. All have the same opportunity to believe. God fills all who hunger and thirst. Not all are hungry or thirsty so why fear for them...life is a contest...some fail to compete according to the rules and they usually end up fucked.
I guess it's my empathy. I've been through some stuff and have turned my hatred into fear for what those people face. Maybe it will fade, but for now my wounds still hurt from time to time. It's due to God that I am still here.
You do not have to repent and follow Gods law to be saved. You need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Repenting is works, and it is impossible to turn away from all of your sins. Jonah 3:10 "and God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not." The phrase repent of your sins is found nowhere in the bible. It says repent and believe the Gospel, because you can't believe in another religion or god, and the Lord Jesus Christ at the same time. If you study repentance, God himself repents more than anyone else throughout the bible.
Please get a King James bible, the preserved, perfect word of God (in English).
And this documentary explains why the KJV is the preserved word of God, and all other English translations are perversions of scripture, inspired by the devil.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kFtI_mVOXbQ&t=15s
If you are too busy to watch it, the quickest example I can give is that God promised to preserve his Word unto all generations. "Verily verily Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my Word shall not pass away."
Every translation that came after the KJV is translated from manuscripts discovered by the Catholic church, in the 1800s. They are very different than the Textus Receptus that the KJV is translated from. So if they are different, and were lost until the 1800s, then God lied, because his word was not preserved unto all generations. The bible says "God, who can not lie". So if that part is a lie, how do you believe the rest of it is true? They are also missing 16 entire verses, and they don't even bother to change the numbering. The book of Acts goes Acts 8:36 to Acts 8:38, where Philip says what we must do to be baptized. Which is believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Which destroys the Catholic doctrine of flicking water on babies. Baptism is when you go completely under water, and it is to be done AFTER you are saved. But it is not required to go to heaven. Jesus came up straightway out of the water. John baptized in Anon near Desalem because there was MUCH water there.
I agree with the biblical prospective you give. King James is great version but fR from perfect. Every punctuation mark was added by man, every capital letter Nd chapter heading. Not all paragraphs were kept together so thoughts span more than one chapter. It has plenty of grammatical errors that were done to support romish doctrines. However, it can be easily read Nd understood Nd rightly divided to make it usable for believing and receiving MD understanding God's will.
The gift of faith is part of the manifestations of the spirit MD comes with the gift of hy spirit. Every italicised word in the Bible is added by man and has no corresponding Greek word it was translated.from. in 1cor 12: uses the italicized word gifts. Faith is the same as the word believing which is a verb Nd connotes action. To believe is a work...its the only works we are required to do and all actions for the believer should spring forth from believing God's word. Hence works of faith. A word study on the Greek word pistis is a fun study. As far as not being saved by works we are told to "believe unto salvation" "unto"is a the Greek preposition "eis" which is translated as "to the point of". You believe God unto salvation. It's not works, you go to the point of receiving MD God does the miracle of the new birth. You basically admit you agree Christ was raised from the dead, confess him as Lord and then the supernatural.is done by God and you are given spirit as a gift. That is how I've come to understand it. And why we are not saved by works but grace as it is the free gift of God. You still gotta.show up to receive it though and that's the believing.
Believing is not works. Neither is calling upon the name of the Lord for salvation. If I offer you a free gift, but tell you to ask me for it, would you honestly say that you worked for that gift? And if I said I have a gift for you, you wouldn't ask for it unless you believed that I would give it to you. If you think that is works, then you are retarded. "For by grace are ye saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast."
John 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
It's not so much of a "terror" form of fear, but more on the side of reverence in God's immense power. Some of the meaning can be lost in translation from Hebrew to English.
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Genesis 2:7 NIV
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “ Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15 NIV
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18 NIV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
2 Corinthians 5:17-18 NIV
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Revelation 4:11 NIV
Out in the open wisdom calls aloud, she raises her voice in the public square; on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech: “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you— when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. “Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord . Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
Proverbs 1:20-33 NIV
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.”
Proverbs 4:5-9 NIV
Im guessing this is speaking of Sophia, of the Gnostic texts
In Gnosticism, Sophia is a feminine figure, analogous to the human soul but also simultaneously one of the feminine aspects of God. Gnostics held that she was the syzygy (female twin divine Aeon) of Jesus (i.e. the Bride of Christ), and Holy Spirit of the Trinity. She is occasionally referred to by the Hebrew equivalent of Achamōth and as Prunikos. In the Nag Hammadi texts, Sophia is the lowest Aeon, or anthropic expression of the emanation of the light of God. She is considered to have fallen from grace in some way, in so doing creating or helping to create the material world.
This doesn't sound like a forgiving God. Not only does She not forgive you She laughs and mocks you for being "simple". If HaShem made us in his image, it seems as if she is mocking their creation. Didn't Satan mock man? Didn't Satan fall from grace? Wisdom and Satan seem to be very similar.
Proverbs 4:5-9 NIV
What do you think "garland" is, what does it represent?
What do you think the "glorious crown" is, what does it represent?
This is a quick video explaining what we must do to be saved. It is completely different than what most people who claim the name of Christ believe. But is is packed full of bible verses (not quoted out of context or just using bits and pieces). I pray that you and others will watch it, and God will open your heart to receive it.
I pray you will have a change of heart before you die. Hell is real, and it does not sound like a nice place. Lots of fire. Flaming fire. And it never ends.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Roman's 3:10 as it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.
Roman's 6:23 for the wages of sin is death...
Revelation 20:14 and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
We have all sinned, and according to scripture, even telling a lie is enough to send us to hell. You dont have to be Adolf Hitler to go to hell, because we are all going to go. Unless...
Roman's 5:8 But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Roman's 6:23 But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Roman's 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved
Roman's 10:13 for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
We dont have to go to hell, but unless we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and rose from the dead, and trust in him alone to get us there, we will go. Once you are saved, you can never lose your place in heaven, for it is eternal life. You dont have to go to church, get baptized, live a good life, or even read the bible. You just believe, one time, and call upon the Lord asking him to save you. With that being said, if you are saved and sin, God will punish us on this earth. "For who the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourges every son whom he recieveth." So we don't get a free license to sin. But God will never send us to hell when we believe on Jesus Christ.
That's why I pray you have a change of heart. There does come a point when we can no longer be saved, and God gives people over to a reprobate mind for rejecting him too many times. Just think on it friend. It's not too late, yet. I don't want anyone to go to hell, except pedophiles and wicked people like that.
I do appreciate your concern for my soul and thank you.
I feel as if the Catholic Church uses fear in to accepting Jesus to control us.
I have a big problem with the Eucharist, they are trying to normalize eating flesh and drinking blood, its a human sacrifice ritual. All of their rituals make me leery.
My point being that the C.C. has altered the tex/translations to lead you astray. They use fear of questioning their text as a control device. A loving god would not mind us questioning them. Any loving parent encourages their children to ask questions. Thats what free will is about.
I don't believe in sin. I think we all fell from Heaven to Earth as a learning opportunity and we all will attain perfection and return to Heaven as Jesus did,
Jesus is a symbol of our journey. We are god(s) in human form, and the C.C and the DS are terrified we will find that out, because then they can no longer control us with their convoluted religion.
I am not a Catholic. The Catholic church teaches works salvation, that you must be baptized, go to church, take communion, confess your sins, all of that nonsense. They make images and idols of the virgin Mary and the saints and pray to them. The Catholic church is just Roman paganism mixed with Christianity, which is why they call Mary the queen of heaven. Mary was not a perfect woman, and Jesus even rebuked her in the bible, twice. I am an independent fundamental baptist. We dont believe that when you take communion that it literally turns into the body and blood of Christ. That is weird and satanic. Jesus said to do communion in remembrance of him, and was speaking in a metaphor. The broken bread represented his body being crucified, and the wine represented his blood being shed on the cross. And after he rose from the dead and ascended up to heaven, he sprinkled his blood on the mercy seat in the tabernacle that is in heaven. Anyone who follows Catholic doctrine is on their way to hell, because they are trusting in their works to get to heaven. Jesus paid it all, and he did all the work. All we do is believe, and ask him for the gift of salvation.
But we are not Gods. We are made in the image of God. Sin is the transgression of Gods laws and rules. Since God created the world, and the entire universe, he gets to make the rules. It doesn't matter if I agree with them or not. He created me, and the world. So he creates the rulebook. But I agree the Catholic church has perverted scripture. The new Testament was written in Greek, not Latin. And every translation that came after the King James is translated from manuscripts the Catholic church happened to discover. And all of the changes just happen to line up with Catholic doctrines.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
I think the mods do not desire to convert anyone to any religious viewpoint (except insofar as we are all pursuing truth). I think we all desire as individuals for people to be won over to us by the truth in what we personally believe, and that should even out across the board.
So welcome. If you don't want to believe in reverencing (fearing) the Lord and don't want to be in the scroll of remembrance, well, "Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book." (And it goes downhill from there.)
But keep in mind we're all Constitutionalists and the Constitution was written in the year of our Lord 1787.
If you have a few minutes, check out this video. It is a clear presentation of the Gospel, which most people have twisted so badly that they are not even saved. It is less than ten minutes long, and then you will know what the Bible says about salvation. Once you have a clear understanding, then it is up to you to accept or reject the free gift of God. Please take the time to watch it.
Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord ! Why do you long for the day of the Lord ? That day will be darkness, not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion only to meet a bear, as though he entered his house and rested his hand on the wall only to have a snake bite him. Will not the day of the Lord be darkness, not light— pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?
Amos 5:18-20 NIV
The great day of the Lord is near— near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. That day will be a day of wrath— a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness— a day of trumpet and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the corner towers.
Zephaniah 1:14-16 NIV
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Revelation 3:10-11 NIV
We Christians have been waiting for the 2nd coming / rapture etc as an imminent thing since Israel became a nation.
That event was considered a sign of the end times. Ever since then every bad thing that has happened in the world has been a sign of end times.
When you believe you're going to be yanked out of here and plopped in heaven for eternity, what do you do? You stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes and just wait. You do NOTHING.
Eagerly awaiting a near coming rapture, along with the 501c3 muzzle has completely neutered the church. The church is impotent, ineffective and basically useless.
You can have whatever eschatology you want, but if you choose to accept evil in the world because "it's just a sign of the times, Jesus is coming any day now" then you are a stupid sheep destined for the slaughter.
If this was a different board I would point out some evidence for just how Israel became a nation and how the imminent rapture doctrine was introduced into the Christian church, but you can look that up for yourself.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.

I think we all fell from Heaven to Earth as a learning opportunity and we all will attain perfection and return to Heaven as Jesus did, Jesus is a symbol of our journey.
I’m at peace and ready for our savior
Amen! Nobody will escape Judgement Day!
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

God bless you fine patriot.
God bless you.
The day of the Lord is when God’s wrath is poured out on earth. You don’t want to be here for that.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 NIV

Rapturos, found in the Latin Vulgate translation of Scripture. It wasn't "introduced" as some sort of heresy, it is in the Bible plain as day.
