Planes go brrrr. But Cars go Vroooom.
Almost like we need a plane car version of the song 'what does the fox say'.
U boats go ping ?
One ping only, Vassily...
DAMMIT VASSILY!! ?
????????
Yes, U is on, and there is still a lot more activity than I've seen as 'normal' over the past few months.
The activity is normal, we have been ramping up on multiple levels both overseas and in the US. The planes I would keep an eye on are these because they are trying so hard to stay hidden
W... T.... F... Is so interesting in northwrn Italy ????
Aviano Air Force Base ...
Hats off to the planefags, I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Thank U!
Amateur planefag here. Been watching pretty close the past few weeks, and this is more activity than I've seen in Europe during that time. 18 helicopters over the UK right now, and a US 'tanker' patrolling the North Sea along with one from UK.
There were 3US tankers over Europe with QID call signs 2 in the North Sea and one over Germany circling for hours......The thing is no other planes were showing being refuelled. A US tanker has also flown across the Atlantic today and another one has gone the opposite way.
Most of the helicopters fly out to the oil rigs.
Just because you can't see other planes refueling doesn't mean they arent there. Planes involved in ops will most likely have their transponders turned off for mission integrity.
Supposedly the KC-135's are not always tankers.
WAY more mil aircraft than usual..
Jesus, on most days the most I would see flying is of a third of that amount. Something is happening.
Holy shit, that's a ton of planes. I know nothing about this sort of thing but that seems to be a ton of aircraft.
What did you see? Screenshots? Description? Why is this stickied?
Can't You Click The? Why Can't You Click The Link? Is There Something Wrong That You Can't The Link?
Can't You Answer The Question Without Being Condescending? Is There A Reason For You To Antagonize Someone Who Is Unsure About What's Going On And What This All Means? Is That Really The Impression That You Want People To Take Away From This Community?
Don't You Realize That Everybody Doesn't Know What You Know, And That An Arbitrary Map With Planes On It Doesn't Mean Much If You Don't Know The Standard Baselines?
nobody likes clicking links...links are low energy posts IMO
I am curious what was going on last night in the US...this Pegasus made some weird flight patterns last night... There was also several very large planes that were flying stacked one over the other - flying the same direction and within just a few hundred feet of each other...I posted a link to it on another plane post but didn't have any responses to it... This is something you don't normally see.

I'm in the NE USA and live about fifty miles from a large military base. It's mostly been very quiet, at least where I can hear them, but last night around 8pm It got very noisy for a few minutes. Definitely military but I have no idea what they were. Other than I haven't noticed much plane traffic at all.
Thanks for responding. It's very interesting what we are seeing...keep your eyes and ears open my friend.
YW! I will.
Texas and South East are buzzing right now, also noticed a lot of return from eu the last few days. Lots of tankers up, with nothing around them..? that we can seeeeee
This also seems ridiculous.

Yeah it does, even over an air base
while I'm here, is there a key for the letters in these charts?
hover your mouse over them
I'm on mobile. :(
click the U for military planes.
ok, thank you.
EU politicians be like, "Did we use Smartmatic voting machines too?"
All the planes with stripped registrations that are up now

Think it is fairly safe to assume that something is up...
Dang HBAL325 is 54000 over South America (-1.845°, -54.874°) Another one (-6.368°, -60.603°) at 63K. Must be military.
Anytime I see a plane that is flying at 47000 ft., it's a Citation or Gulfstream. Are these just private jets that get that altitude because the can, or what?
Hi, this is completely normal. It seems like a lot of planes but they follow jet streams. What you want to do is search by military flights and then do some digging beyond that
This is a little more than usual, especially over the EU, don’t you think?
What the heck is this one doing, leaves UK, flies in circles over Osnabruck, then comes back

And this too:

A bit less than the 2 most active days in January, was slightly more activity a few hours ago which would put it about on par with the 2 previous most active days..
The US however is more active than I think I have ever seen it with almost 300 aircraft in the air right now.......
70 Tex 2's in the air right now..

Still litty titty north of pensacola
A bit busy for Europe this time of day, but the only weird one that jumps out is the flight path of that BD700 Bombardier. No idea why but it looks like it may be on a surveillance mission of some sort.
I'm not aware if this is a specially outfitted special mission aircraft or a small transport of personnel aircraft.

Could someone tell me how to see these planes and ships? Thanks
Interesting callsign for this special ops plane

Lots of activity near the south Chinaah sea and Japan in the last few days. Not normally any activity.
This is the stuff that worries me. I'd rather just starve China economically with tariffs than to have any hot confrontation with them. Hope we're just rattling sabres to show them we're watching SChina Sea and them.
RE the UK flight activity, Belgium had some problems with their government resigning and some revolts brewing a couple of days ago. Wonder if the activity over EU has something to do with that.
Plane Question for ANYONE: I just recently found this URL for planes and when a single engine or a turbo prop flew over my house LOW I pulled up the app bookmark on my phone and there was "no plane" on the map at all... Aren't all planes supposed to be listed????? I don't live close to a airport either.

RAF Airbus about to land in Texas at Fort Hood
2200 GMT. 1700 EST
Anyone know what is in Alexandria Louisiana? Last night I saw a flight of 3 C-130s and an MC-130 that had been jamming, land somewhere around there. The much later, I saw the three C-130s leave, with two of them going dark shortly thereafter.
Can someone explain to me why they call it planefag lol
