I agree... and yet the fact that the shadows of the plants surrounding the glowing cross fall in the wrong direction does irk me a little. ?

I just watched the movie The Prince of Egypt today and couldn’t help but relate it to current times. God always protects His own. Eventually he will say, enough is enough!!

I’ve always assumed NCSWIC referred to justice, great awakening, etc. In the back of my mind, I’ve always wondered if it’s something else, such as collision with a Comet, or if Q’s team truly believe we are in the end times and Jesus is coming soon. There is a faction of people who do believe they can bring about the end times and second coming soon. Q always says “God wins”, but I think we’re a long way away from the end times.
sick of this god stuff. he is omnipotent - he has the power to snap away all demons and child suffering in an instant. Instead he has allowed unspeakable horrors to happen to innocent children. He has the power to intervene but chose to look away and let it happen. He is now complicit and ironically, must judge Himself accordingly.
Evil wins when good people do nothing. God needs to have a word with Himself, son.
so it's taken 2000 years of opportunities to "do what is right" and he's let all those kiddies suffer horribly for what?
Is he going to let it go on for another 2000 years? 4000? When is the line drawn that enough is enough??
Get a verse by verse commentary on Revelation. (I like this series, but you’ll find what you need if you look) You’ll gain deeper understanding. There’s the “story” (prophesied historical events) and the underlying symbolic meaning of the “story” (Who’s Who in the Zoo) and then there’s the utterly obscure spiritual meaning which can be experienced but not described. (God is in the Dark. ie Moses at Sinai) Skeleton, bone, marrow. All miraculous in their way, but the marrow is sweet.

You’re saying all the things I’ve been wondering about for years now. I’m as red blooded of a patriot as they come, but the only thing I know is that our Heavenly Father is in control and His timing and will is perfect.
