I wear a "Plague Doctor" mask on the top of my head like a dunce cap. It gets lots of comments and opens conversation.

Bahahahaha. I saw a guy in a gas station wearing a full ski mask recently (just buying gas) and thought to myself..."We are completely immersed in clown world." I remember a time when ski masks in gas stations = robbery, now you're in full medical compliance. ??
It was -20 here last night, ski masks recommended for everyone. Not for stupid viruses, but because the sun is sleeping.

For those who want to breathe better minimallycompliantmasks.com has some great ones! See through, lace, or black gauze that breathes great but looks like a normal mask for times you really need to get somewhere

I wear a face shield I took from my wood shop. I can totally breath, and I can pivot it up off my face, which I always do for the last 30 feet before the store exit. I live in a blue commie state and...not a word from the sheep...
I wish I could do that for work! I refused the covid vaccine so I have to wear goggles/face shield and an N95 mask even if I’m at the nurses station or away from patient care areas or by myself on another floor! Other people only have to wear a regular mask or nothing in the communal areas :/

Someone could offer me a millions $$+ in a briefcase no strings attached..... and I would still refuse. I am by no means wealthy, and I’ve got debt to pay, but the opportunity to live a healthy life and have children means more to me than that. I mean think about it... if you had a procedure gone bad that made you sterile your would get wayyyy more than that in compensation.... but with the vaccine you can’t even go after the manufacturer. I’m not claiming to be that smart, but I’ve listened to those smarter than i and compared my own preconceived fears from reading the sars vaccine trials last year.... and they match up. Pathogenic priming, cytokine storm...no Thankyou. I know I’ll survive covid, I can’t guarantee I’ll have a quality life with the vaccine.

I just use a piece of cheesecloth on the rare time I need one to actually get something i need. You can see my whole face through it, but no one says a word.

Nearby in my hometown of Louisville KY, we have this awesome family owned costume/novelty shop, Caufield's, that's open year round. Last yr they celebrated 100 yrs of keeping Louisville weird. Might have to go pay them a visit or check out their website to see what they have in stock.
