I don't have an issue with green energy, I just think we need to be realistic about it. It's great when the conditions for it are appropriate, but that's not all the time.
Green energy is shit. It is only applicable in very specific circumstances if it is to remain consistent and reliable.
We have cucked our own progress with energy innovation that actually would have helped us. We would rather spend millions on garbage tech that will never solve the energy issue on the planet. Energy is money and the reason our progression has been shit is because of the green tech sector. Really unfortunate. So many more efficient and more powerful ways.
The manufacturing process for solar panels causes an absurd amount of pollution. Disposing of them can also be hazardous to the environment. Combine that with the fact that they don't perform very well even in perfect conditions, and it turns out they're not "green" at all. It's a wonder why the government would subsidize such a product...
without maintenance it takes about 50 years for them to pay for themselves. start adding new parts, repairs, blades, de icing. the tower will be torn down before they ever become paid off. There's hundreds built in California back in the 70's that still have never meet their costs to build.
Agreed but let's not forget why " green " was brought into the mix. All of this green agenda was to help push the whole climate change hoax. There's a ton of money and power to be had from it.
America would sustain less damage from fighting a direct war, than deal with their final vision for us as the result of of the green agenda. It's hidden war and theft.
Just like PP has nothing to do with Women's health or BLM has nothing to do with Lives and chivi nothing to do with health. They hide behind the things that sound good to most people to push their evil thru.
Yeah, if there’s innovation that can be done to provide a service the market wants and reduce waste products, then Godspeed. I’m totally in favor of the market innovating as it always does, with the government staying the fuck out.
think of a windmill a 'reversed helicopter', how fast should the propellers spin to get to somewhere near the gas engine's power? then you will understand why the windmills are so fucking huge, and it is all a sham.
I've been skeptical of weather control machine theories... but after seeing a temperature map yesterday, it strikes me as one hell of a coincidence that they couldn't have designed an event to red pill people about "green energy" better if they tried...
The excuses for wind power are flying here. So far from the group chat I'm in I've gathered that the outages are Republican's fault because they won't pay for weatherization of... something. Not a fatal flaw with green energy though! Not at all. They're talking themselves into circles like they always do.
I agree with you. Nuclear gets a bad rap because there are old nuclear plants still in operation that shouldn’t be. Nuclear technology is much better today, but sadly there is little appetite for building new nuclear generation plants.
The reason I cite carbon capture is it defeats the notion we have to give up on fossil fuels. Yes, it is a compromise, and I see your point, it looks like I am conceding that carbon is an issue. Still, I would much rather see carbon capture equipment hanging off a coal generating station than to see a beautiful field blighted by rows of wind turbines. Plus the carbon captured has practical uses, like industrial gas or to feed hydroponic farms where they currently buy bottle CO2 for use.

Exactly.

It does make me wonder how much of the weather can be controlled by the powers that be.

And are you just watching from the bushes or trying to interject logic and facts? Not like you'd get anywhere with these tail-chasers...
Not stepping in this dog shit!
Good idea, best to just watch them eat themselves after a while.
I buy milk from supermarket, instead asking wife. same thing.
God I hope so. I am so sick of Austin stupid.
Some people are unreachable. It seems like Austin has more than their fair share of these types.
Because leftism is the equivalent of brain cancer that is also able to spread like a virus.
The investment in green energy would be better spent on fast tracking development of carbon capture technologies.
u/#wrong The necessity of "carbon capture" is part of the climate change lie. If anything, we should push nuclear- the real "green" energy.
