Florida has not needed to do this as people aren't wearing them to begin with. GO NORTH DAKOTA - bring it to the rest of us.... WE SUPPORT YOU!
We have an active mandate in South Florida, a lot of people wear them as they’ve become accustom to it. The mandate isn’t enforced, and no one really cares if you wear one or not. Regardless, there should not be a mandate at all.

Some counties in FL still have a mandate for masks they just cannot be enforced with fines on individuals. Some left leaning counties are putting pressure on businesses and restaurants, saying if they don't enforce mask mandate and social distancing they could have their licenses suspended. I would love for FL legislatures to put something like this on the books to keep the county commissioners in line. So many sheep are conditioned it's scary.

I think you hit on an important point which is I believe enough people at this point feel that if masks are necessary that they'll wear one and don't need a mandate telling them to do so. Freedom of choice should be mandatory, not a government's mandated behavior.
Do businesses let people in without masks?
Around where I live, many of them have signs saying outright "NO MASK, NO ENTRY". Same as it's been with "No shoes, no shirt, no service", but funny how we never bat an eye when it comes to that sort of thing. Suddenly mask policies became problematic. I hate what they (masks) represent and agree with those that choose not to wear one for various reasons, but I also know that there's a larger double standard in place.
Really depends on the business. Most don’t care.
Only company around here that enforces is Menards (like home depot or Lowes). They will ask you to leave if you dont mask up. Most anywhere else, they have signs, but worst you get are the odd look.
There are several businesses that require you do not wear masks or they call the police or threaten to shoot you (granted, liquor stores and gun shops, but still cool).
Let people? What do they have bouncers? Just walk past that stupid piece of cardboard that says masks.
Private businesses can ban anyone they want from their private business. Police will arrest or escort out any person banned from a private business.
Private business can also mandate that masks are not allowed and ban anyone wearing them.
Non enforceable mandate here. 90% of the ppl on the west coast (excluding perhaps 10% ish on each end) are steeple and wear the mask.

Florida has a lot of private businesses that require masks. Bosses absolutely require them and fuck all if you're a health condition that prevents their use.
If only I had standing, I'd file a lawsuit that would ream out their cornhole.

It’s probably 2/3 don’t care for customers. The other 1/3 dont argue much and mostly leave you be.
I know when I visited in December, every store in Clermont that I visited had the “you must wear a mask to enter” signs on the doors. I refused to wear them, just didn’t go in to a few places and was not bothered in Hobby Lobby or the Harbor Freight I went to. Didn’t wear them in restaurants either. But places like Wal Mart or Kohl’s wouldn’t let you in the doors without them.
They are scared of bad press. Most know it’s bullshit. Lose the mandates and that starts to go away.
I have a friend in florida that I got into it with on Facebook (she stupidly posted a "meme" about people wearing masks with there nose not covered are beyond maddening and risking others) so I know the maskers are alive and well in florida.
It was frustrating. She normally is sweet and bubbly but when I responded the first time calmly explaining how it doesn't matter if they are worn properly because viruses go through the fabric, she got bitchy and uppity like she's smarter then me so I responded talking to her like shes a 3 year old....
Getting tired of dumbasses acting like experts when they are obviously not....
Time for the Republican Senate in NC to do the same and void Democrat Governor POOPER's mandate here.
I don't even know but I just emailed my reps and house and senate leaders to impeach Pooper. And at the very least rid of us his illegal mandates.

I dont think people in Chicago will stop wearing them until they are told to stop. Im part of the 5 percent that doesn't wear them outside or in a car.

I live on the NW side. Was having a conversation with my former business partner at a restaurant in Glenview and he started talking about about Fauci. I was shocked that the couple at the next table overheard, and said something along the lines of, "Yeah, he's nuts. These people are nuts." We had a nice conversation and laughed a lot at the madness of it all. She started to put on her mask to walk out of the restaurant and I said, "don't bother, what are they gonna do, kick you out? You're leaving anyway." LOL. People have had it. I have a feeling these people were awake long before today though. I regretted not saying WWG1WGA to see if they had any reaction.
I'm telling you, eliminating mask mandated will do wonders for the economy and jobs!

Every branch of government, totally outside their lane. Executive branch legislating, Congress holding hearings and mini-trials that go nowhere, Judge's legislating from the bench. No one bats an eye.

Happened in WI. Governor just wiped his butt with the legislation and wrote another for “the more deadly strain” on its way.

I'm so fucking sick of people saying businesses "require" people to wear masks. Do you always do what you're told pussies? Just fucking walk in, if they throw a fit, leave. Can someone explain to me why we need to establish laws for everything now? I thought it was already illegal to invade someone's privacy such as enforcing masks on someone without knowledge of their medical status, illegal to do research on aborted baby parts, illegal to NOT enforce laws, etc? Why are we now passing "laws" to "certify" the status of other laws to try to make them unenforceable or enforceable now? Have I misunderstood the justice system my entire life? Does the constitution really mean nothing and the only laws that actually matter are recently set precedents? It just seems like everything's so wishy washy. Why are democrats setting all the precedents, too? How come we're always on the defense? Why don't WE go set some precedents if that's how the game is being played? Wtf?

I too was telling everyone I knew not to vote. I heard Coachman speak at a rally in early spring at Bismarck. I didn’t know who he was but loved everything he said. I wrote his name in but obviously the citizens of ND love being controlled. I feel quite alone in the sea of sheeple.
