Well GAB is a free speech site, so I have absolutely no problem with that. I don't want to censor anyone on GAB. They are welcome to say whatever they want and have whatever opinions they want. That's the beauty of GAB. I believe individuals can block people on GAB, so that's all you have to do with trolls if you don't want to see their posts.
But .wins are specific message boards with specific rules and never claims to be a free speech site. I have no problem with either kind of site. I don't think GAB will fall. In fact, I see people eventually migrating over from twitter because being in an echo-chamber is boring and freedom is very attractive.
If they come to us, then we can show them why our views are clearly and obviously superior to theirs, then they will become allies and become awakened themselves. This is good.
Exactly. We need a place with free speech and the free exchanging of ideas. That's what Twitter used to be. Having every place on the internet segregated into Conservative or Progressive is not a good thing in my opinion. I have no problem with my ideas being questioned because I am confident in them and can support them, and if I can't, then hearing other perspectives can help me to grow and learn. This is why free speech is imperative.

Gab is not at the level of twitter and Facebook. I am usually about a 99.9% free market guy. I have no problem with businesses discriminating on the basis of pretty much whatever they want. The twitter and facebook thing made me doubt those principles a bit, because they are so pervasive and dominant and having an enormous impact on our society, and then banning and censoring people. So for them I did find my principles reaching their breaking point and wanting to see restrictions come down, like how Poland is going to fine companies for censoring. But with Gab you are looking at a much smaller platform. I don't care if liberals had a Gab sized platform that was liberal only. But the gigantic Facebooks, Twitters, and Googles are really threatening to destroy our civilization, so it's questionable at that point. But I do admit that it pains me to break my free market principles and it is something I ponder about.
my hope is that when the BOOMs come that the Googles and Twatters of the world will be exposed for the traitorous and crimes against humanity behaviour and bankrupted via massive class action suits and/or the forfeiture of all their assets in accordance with Trump's EOs
