Under what authority, assuming he has resigned from the US Attorneys office, would Durham have to pursue and/or serve indictments against anyone he pursued while in office? He may have handed off his cases, but is he still in a position of authority to act as a Federal agent of the court?
All US Attorneys were asked to resign prior to 2/28. The only exception is the US Attorney who is pretty deep into a political corruption investigation n Illinois.
"Barr disclosed that on Oct 19, he had secretly appointed Durham as a special counsel. As a result, Durham now has the same independence and protections once enjoyed by Robert Mueller, the special counsel appointed to oversee the 2017-2019 investigation of Russian interference."
I honestly didn't have any stock invested in this guy at all. Yes, might go against Q but I never got my hopes up. Doesn't mean he's not still special counsel but idk if this guy will do anything or not.
Just the US Attorney office. Do not be alarmed.

Still Special Council.

Thank you, didn't know that!
im thinking special ed.
Remember Mueller was retired when he came in as Special Council
I'm definitely thinking MIRROR these days.
Thanks
hopefully we get the report before the year 2500.
OK - What does this mean?
Still Special Counsel
Whew! Hoped so.
Freeing him up for something perhaps?
Hopefully shit is about to hit the fan!!!
I truly hope they have not got to him...
I assume this is not the same as leaving the special prosecutor's position, which I'm sure the Bidan administration will be focusing on next.
He resigned as the US Attorney of Connecticut. He is still with the US DOJ.
So are we gonna have to wait another two years for his Special Counsel to finally indict some of the fraudsters walking around DC and elsewhere??
Or does this mean he is NOW free to drop the indictments he has been working on?
Hopefully, the latter.
We've known for nearly a month that he was resigning his seat as a U.S. Attorney. He is still a special counsel. Nothingburger.
Beause he's done with his report?

Biden asked all US Attorneys to hand in their resignations. He maintains his Special Counsel position.
This. The OP needs to be edited to include this info cuz it seems most people commenting didn't know that.
