Ironically, there are business sectors where this is true. Generally, businesses engaged in money account reconciliation. A close friend was in the banking IT business in operations. The company had an extremely generous paid vacation policy but policy also required that employees had to take one period of at least two consecutive weeks once a year. This would allow audit to uncover any fraud that entailed back-and-forth account thrashing.
