I never saw a group of people so offended by fictional characters... Muppets, Mr/Mrs Potato Head, and now Dr Seuss? (My comment brought to you by the letters W, T, and F...)
Dinesh Dsouza broke down why they 'cancelled' Seuss. It was because they went through his books and found that black people are underrepresented as a percentage of the population. I feel like I'm letting God down these days but I swear some of these people I just wouldn't feel anything if they fell into a pit of sharks.
It's a bit deeper than that. The "racism" is the wedge issue they use to justify the cancellation, the underlying reason to cancel relates to "systematic racism", and their cultural goals at large.
James Lindsay did a nearly 2 hr podcast breaking it down, the academic literature that this particular cancellation stems from, and, the big picture. That podcast is behind a paywall ($5/month).
The gist of his podcast is this. Our culture is supposedly systematically racist, and therefore, all of our culture must be torn down. Dr. Seuss is a source of common bonding for everyone, and that cannot stand. A large proportion of children books sold are Dr. Seuss.
Further to this, Dr. Seuss had actual racist materials in his non-children books/advertisements/etc., and therefore, his children books are supposedly a gateway to this racist adult material. The critical race theorists don't give people credit for being able to see that they don't want to read his racist materials, and, they don't want you to see that society has become less racist with time.
I agree that the main (actual) reason they want to cancel Dr. Seuss is to tear down our culture in general. But ostensibly they were using this artificial count of how many black human characters are shown in his books compared to the actual population of them in the country.
Indeed. The original "academic" paper behind this particular attack on the culture made a few different arguments/critics, most along racial lines, of his children books. Some of these critics, of course, were outright lies, some, were exaggerations of the truth, and some were them projecting their ideology/perspective onto it.
Or Jill Biden....
Or rachel levine....
Richard** fixed it for you.
That's a dick for sure!
Dickless Levine
Nah - these transgender‘s don’t always cut off their dicks. They’re just men with tits.
Has his dickless status been confirmed? Could be rocking the Michael Obama look.

More of a Doctor than Fauci.
As for Dr. Seuss, the leftards have a thing against Whos. It's disgraceful.
Dr. Pepper is more of a doctor than Bill Gates and Fauci
And Dr. McGuillicuddy's does more good.

Loved your parenthetical comment - that was clever!! :) Thanks for the smile!
Thank you! :)
The Muppets now? What?
They added a content warning to the muppets on Disney+, apparently.
Yes, the beloved Muppets: https://greatamericanpolitics.com/2021/02/disney-slaps-offensive-content-warning-labels-on-the-muppet-show/

Wasn't the real Dr. Seuss a California liberal of the sort George HW Bush would call "a Marin county hot-tubber?"
Errol and Kevin Sorbo are king's of Twitter. (Also Catturd and James Blunt) lol
For as much news as it's garnered it's got to be yet another distraction.
Some people would hate Dr. Seuss if they knew about the porn he published before he got into children's books.
Sauce?
How about "The Seven Lady Godivas"? It's just naked women.
