They said the new software triggered an actual warning instead of a test. It all coincided with the test announcement along with a test alert msg from local company tests at the exact same time.
It may help convince pepes if you lay out your logic a little. I'm wondering if each of them are historically generic and don't have a specific occasion for being posted other than Q being random and with that what is the common theme that unites them other than the number places? I think your thinking is interesting, have my updot.

I told my husband I thought it may have something to do with online stores/offices demanding a cell phone number. We did not have cell phones so I always put down our land line phone.
It started about the time everyone was talking about the EBS notices.
In fact, it has gone on so long that my husband and I both said; "If it stops ringing we are going to miss that call" Never missed an 8:10 until last night when it rang at 8:11 PM.
So tonight for the first time in months - there was no call. And now I see here and on Telegram people getting EBS notices all day.
Not sure what in hell it has to do with everything, but thought I would share it with you in the hope it has something to do with it all.

Sobering thought: how many times does Q mention the operators? Lots. The middle of the country got hit with a suprise 'test' this morning.
The tornado tests are normal, but what was not normal was it triggering our cell phone emergency system and the alert on the phone was NOT a warning.
It was an actual alert that told us to take cover, etc.
That has never happened. Btw it's completely clear and sunny.
