No. He's very vocal about his belief that our reality is a simulation. He's simply stating that this pic, although it looks fake, is actually real.

Is that a hint that they ARE fake?
I doubt it.
When we think of a human pilot landing on something, there's usually a period where the craft is hovering just above the destination surface before easing themselves down to a landing. With the rockets being computer controlled, it can adjust on-the-fly to get the craft to exactly zero velocity at the exact moment it touches the ground without a hover period, making it look 'fake'.
Basically, It looks like a machine doing it rather than a human, which doesn't compute when we are used to looking at human-controlled flying vehicles.
Thats not WHY it looks fake. It looks fake cause it looks like CGI. The whole thing.
Remember that time he "launched a car into space" where for a half second the green screen goes away and you see the chamber the car is sitting in? It's probably half real rockets shooting satellites up, and half fake shit like that car launch

I’ve seen that interview. He says something like “it’s possible that this is base reality, but the probability that we’re in a simulation is higher” if I remember correctly.
His argument is plausible. What are the odds that most of human history sucked and was hard and then we get to live in this extremely interesting time with these big changes and tech innovation. And we are being tested.

I thought he is hinting that some of the rocket launches were not real, but faked by Nasa.
I can't help but think the dimensions of the current rockets looks somehow familiar. I'm picturing this conversation.

And when the shape is exactly right he does what most men would do and puts it right there on his profile pic. Because he can. Now everyone can admire Elon's perfect girth.
This is the only part of these launches that did appear very CGI to me. However, rest of the imagery looks fine to me.
