For now, this photo looks a little too clean to me.
There are multiple microphones coming from different angles, yet the cameraman has an unobstructed view of Durham. Even the boxes on the microphones are aligned closely with the photos, with nice clean generic channel names.
The NEWS CHANNEL 8 microphone holder appears to be crouching for no reason as well. It doesn't look like an organic photo.
I don’t think it is staged. I think the microphones are placed for maximum exposure and publicity.
I also think Durham placed himself where he wanted to be for his best look.
I believe the cameras are set as he is walking up. He just moves right or left to center himself in the door. Shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Door to cameras.
That doesn't answer the question of why all of the faces behind Durham are perfectly framed.
This is also an HD digital photo from a camera, not video footage or video footage quality. If it were a video camera I would understand the need for a set place for Durham to approach, but it's not. This would have been easily taken by a hand held digital camera.

What tv channel WNPR reporter would not have a long sleeve shirt on? I have NEVER seen a mans’ hairy arm holding a microphone! I thought this looked fake before I read one word. All the faces look too clean and crisp.
It looks like his fingers are actually touching the cord of the microphone of one of the reporters. But look at the hand of the WNPR reporter. He appears to be so close that he is touching Durham's suit jacket. Would they get that close?

What is going on with the image/reflection of some dude's head in the left lense of his glasses? I don’t know, it doesn’t look right to me. It’s not like they are reflective sunglass lenses. It looks like it’s the man to the left of him, but I don’t know how that would even be possible in reality.
If this is real, will those news agencies have file footage? Has any conservatve new organization been able to track him down for comments? Even a "no comment"?

How would Durham know where his "best look" will be? The angle of the camera would frame him, it would not be decided by where he stands.
