The 1964 murder of a nationally known cancer researcher sets the stage for this gripping exposé of medical professionals enmeshed in covert government operations over the course of three decades. Following a trail of police records, FBI files, cancer statistics, and medical journals, this revealing book presents evidence of a web of medical secret-keeping that began with the handling of evidence in the JFK assassination and continued apace, sweeping doctors into coverups of cancer outbreaks, contaminated polio vaccine, the arrival of the AIDS virus, and biological weapon research using infected monkeys.
For those who are concerned/interested, please understand that in order for cancer to grow it needs a specific environment. There are many things folks can do to improve one's cellular environment and completely avoid cancer despite the increasingly toxic situation we find ourselves in. I haven't read this book, but I hope it provides some sort of counter balance to this very grim situation.
For starters, I hope ALL of you are avoiding the "heart healthy" liquid industrial seed oils that have infiltrated our food supply. PUFAs (polyunsaturated fatty acids) such as canola, soy and corn oil, margarine etc are constantly being pushed as healthy in place of the natural stable saturated fats like butter, tallow and coconut oil which have been a part of the human diet since forever. This switch over to refined garbage oils is a MAJOR driving force in chronic degenerative disease and cancer.

Good post and important reminder. Eat real food the way it was intended. If you drink milk, drink whole milk. If you eat butter, then eat butter and not substitutes. For god's sakes eat real sugar and not the chemical crap that's hundreds of times sweeter.
Yes, everything is backwards and upside down it seems. Saturated fat is highly stable and protective at human body temperature. This stability is especially important for nerve and brain tissue and also basic metabolism.

Peat's main fault is his bashing on DHA/omega 3's. If you get your DHA from seafood the PUFA molecules are stabilized when packaged with iodine. That's why nature used DHA to build bigger better human brains. Don't skimp on seafood especially if you live a blue light toxic lifestyle.
Look out for mercury though....
We try to eat different types of seafood at least three times a week, but fish oil supplements are toxic garbage. And YES, I personally use blue blockers every night, else I cannot turn off my brain.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. Ask the world’s top athletes (crossfitters, sprinters, etc.) what they eat and real butter will be on that list, canola oil will not. Ask the same question to some slob who can’t get off his couch without help and both will be on the list. Butter can be good for you if you consume it correctly and live a lifestyle that perpetuates that, but it can be bad for you if you don’t. Canola oil is bad for everyone, always. There is no scenario where canola oil is good for you. If you think otherwise, you’ve been brainwashed.
Yep. Agreed.
The book does not go into the health and healing topics, it is primarily a crime story.
Most people wouldn't buy "canola" oil if it was labeled with what it really is. It's really rapeseed oil. Rape is a green, similar to kale or turnip greens. If you let it go to seed, you get thousands of them on each plant. The oil is pressed out of those seeds.
The government allows food companies to change the names of ingredients to make them easier to sell to consumers.
Chilean Sea Bass aka Patagonian Tooth-fish.
This cannot be up-dooted enough.
Later, I will post an article that changed my life about diet.
Someone should start a thread on this subject, there might be some folks who are unaware how important this subject is.
