Now letting it scare you into a state where you cannot function as normal is what I would consider dooming. I don't think of dooming as just pointing out negative stuff, but rather focusing an immense amount of energy on it and spreading it amongst your peers.
Always prepare. I can also see a scenario where the Q plan doesn't play out in time and people just go crazy and it becomes uncontrollable before any real plan is in place to stop it. At a certain point when even the local courts won't do anything people will start shooting.
This is unfolding slower than I would have expected and as much as people here will say its not a possibility there is a real chance the DS and cabal had some contingencies that were unexpected. We are talking about a 1000 year old cult with infinite money.
I agree with your first point but question the second. What about Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, NYC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Washington DC? The battlefield is being redefined. Violence is up exponentially in our country and patriots are being attacked. The only thing that does not make this kinetic is that patriots have not chosen to escalate. YET
Prepping is not dooming, it is facing reality. Prepping now will prepare you for when - not if - bad things happen. THESE NEED NOT BE STREET VIOLENCE. Summer thunderstorms and winter ice storms happen every year and take out power sometimes for days. Car wrecks happen, injury and sickness happen, job losses happen....the list goes on an on. You have (or should have) emergency savings, insurance for your house and car to mitigate the effect of accidents there....prepping just extends that model.
Prepping is smart. However, if you are just now starting, you best haul some ass. Once any level of panic sits it, the 80%+ of our population that live day to day are going to go bonkers. Masked Karens on a food rampage.
Prepping when you live on an island is the right thing to do. Tsunamis, hurricanes, tropical storms, mudslides, volcano eruptions, flooding, and evacuations do happen. Not every day occurrences, but very real possibilities.
Yeah... you can always prepare however I don't expect anything really super drastic yet. What I personally think is really more likely is that there is/will continue with an idea war and I think that Hiden will just gradually lose authority it's started actually already which may be why the play seems to be chaos just make as much chaos as possible.
