I work in the healthcare field. in almost every patient room, break room, and cafeteria in the hospital around the nation have CNN (communist news network) on their TV's whether there is anyone in these areas watching or not. Every chance I get, I change the channel so no one has to listen to the demon crap they are spinning to our nation. Out of the 885,000 viewers Fox News says he received which is an all-time low, I imagine only 500 of them are actually in there homes taking in their BS. PS pray for the safety of all the workers performing the AZ audit!!

You’re right, my late mother used to switch her TV on at 0800ish keep it on all day for company. It was too complicated to keep swapping channels.
They are preloaded to set to CH1 in the U.K. thats BBC.
So every hotel room, hospital waiting room, service station etc when switched on presets to that channel, it was probably once ABC or CBS in the US and Ted Turner did a deal to get the chip to override to CNN.
If it wasn't for Mark Dice, would anyone even know who little Brian is?
Mark Dice is the only one who uses Little Brian's real voice...
there are tiny little universal remotes you can get to change any TV anywhere you are
I used to work with a guy that had a watch that he could use as a remote control for TVs. We were in the Airline industry and were in a different city/bar/restaurant every night. He used to change the TV's at will. Was funnier than shit watch the people behind the bar trying to serve and keep trying to change back to the shit programs. :-)
I wish you knew what kind of watch that was!
You can download universal remote apps now, too. I've used one for a lost remote at home. Hmm..may try it out in public, too
Only TV remote watch I could find.

I wish there was some sort of hacky remote / app that could disable physical buttons
THIS THIS THIS ! ! ! !
i work for a LARGE Department of the Army Agency. We have about 30 breakrooms in my building (no shit ... it's big). Every single TV is tuned to either CNN or MSDNC. Every one. I changed one once to OUTNUMBERED WITH HARRIS FAULKNER (black female on Fox if you didn't know), and about 40 minutes later got a visit from our department deputy (awesome guy) that some "bitch Karen " (his words exactly) complained to someone in the Command Team that I changed the breakroom TV to an offensive program. Apparently some Karens out there find black female/conservative women offensive. I'm 99.9% sure it was a black female that complained.
They're rigging the deck and they still can't get decent ratings lol
I could never understand the point of having the TV news on in health-related areas. Are the people who come in for tests/treatments not already stressed enough? Do they need to be sitting there listening to that gloom and doom?
Why not just have some quiet ambient music playing?
I used to think of it as just inertia - somebody came in one day and asked if the news could be put on and it just stayed that way because nobody cared enough to change it. But now? I'm not so sure. Fear sells and fear can also cause people to sicken (depression is one example). More $$$ for Big Pharma.
Around here everything is on HGTV or sports channels.
My Dr. Office always has HGTV on. I think because its pretty neutral.
They spend money of tvs for military break rooms? Fraud, waste and abuse.
Is that high-pitched voice I see on some videos of that guy real? I thought it must be dubbed in, but I watched one where it seemed real, but I have seen others where his voice seemed normal.
Those are dubbed videos by Mark Dice, the voice is fake but the words are really what Brian Stelter says.
It is interesting that the default station settings are always 'news' ' doom and gloom under the guise of being informed. (It really would be better to go back to a half hour at 11PM.)
I would rather see things set to stations with reruns. Seriously, at this point, I would rather look up and see an episode of The Love Boat than CNN
I don't know if it is because of nostalgia, but I have recently watched episodes of "Leave it to Beaver", "Gomer Pyle", "The Rifleman", and a few others, and was very entertained by them! Has anyone else had this happen? (of course, you have to be over 60 for the "nostalgia effect" to most likely occur, unless when you were a kid, you watched re-runs of those shows)
I've been on a Walton's nostalgia tour lately. Comes on M-F locally here.
Fantasy Island and Love Boat!
Car 54 where are you?
Andy Griffith fan here
I have caught a few Dick Van Dyke & Bob Newhart episodes recently. I know what you mean.
Wouldn't that constitute as torture?
When you see it on change that shit.
Brian Stelter = B.S.
Dont forget airports. They always used to show ccpnn
