It's not that human life is sacred it's that children are have sown nothing and in their new lives they are completely innocent.

Those who willingly harm others need to be prevented from doing so again. Socierty must maintain order so that general enlightenment can flourish. Without order societies descend into darkness and general misery.
In the heat of the moment, when law enforcement is kicking down the door of some pedophile den, of course they should be putting bullets in anybody standing in their way. But I cringe when I hear people talk about mass executions. We have the money and the means to lock them up and lose the key. We can take the high road that way, be better than them twice over. They might find Jesus in forced isolation, who knows?
And people that would do that to kids don’t deserve the same measure of humanity we would afford the dog
