Dangerous and difficult situation. Mob armed with rifles, and it appears that they may have body armor as well. If the motorist tries to extract, perhaps leaving a few grease spots on the pavement, it is highly likely he will get shot. Getting out of the truck and attempting to engage an armed mob with a pistol is also highly likely to end in a situation that will lead to a less than optimal outcome. This is the fallow ground that leads to vigilantism taking root and growing. When government abdicates its primary responsibility, the protection and safety of its citizens, the people must protect and defend themselves. By whatever means necessary.
