My outlook has improved exponentially since turning off the news. It's brain pollution.
It's worse than that.
All the things you know about anything happening in the world, you know from media. And all of it is tainted by falsehood and is thus false.
The things you know about Sadam? False. Lybia? False. Ukraine, Philippines, Russia, Assad, Turkey -- all false.
And yet you continue to believe it.
You don't know what any of us, individually, believes or disbelieves. Not unless you are told specifically.
Yet you make a sweeping statement of knowledge you do not have.
I 100% know that everyone, myself included, obviously holds about 0.0001% , give or take a few orders of magnitude, of the actual knowledge that exists in the universe.
And yet everyone, myself included, holds opinions on things that lie outside this sphere of known individual knowledge. The vast majority of people have far greater scopes of opinion on things that they don't really know than the scope if things they do. And most of this opinion is regurgitated bullshit from the media.
Unless you're a semi-omniscient superhero aid from a bad comic book, the same applies to you.

Makes me wonder why China even continues to put out news if they know nobody watches it. Then again, that's happening here too. CNN getting only 1,000,000 viewers during prime time, what's even the point when you have a smaller audience than most big youtubers?

Now we are waking up to realize that is just because we were ALWAYS living under the lie from the beginning... our liars were maybe just packaging the lies better than theirs were.

Thats what I thought for a long time. Woke up in early 2016 when I realized it was all lies (was a Bernie bro seeing him get railroaded and then them repeating on Trump). Now whenever I see something in the news, I instantly look for the lie... and its usually pretty obvious.
