She should educate herself, she has the chance, she's in a nation and time where information and education are plentiful.
I don't listen to others, I match facts to facts. I regularly dispute people on this very board. Vigorously. I don't submit to confirmation bias and this board is rife with confirmation bias. Professionally, I've had to climb my way through a field with extreme confirmation bias, through using that above method. You just have to have the will to not be a tard.
It's been said by many brilliant minds before, but a) most people wouldn't be here if it weren't for others smarter than them, carrying them thru life and b) the human race isn't very intelligent as a whole. It's a small percent of the population, over generations, that are the mentally capable.
Your average person, dealing with those competing factors, is, on average going to be an idiot. If they lack the will to have a strong mental constitution, then what can one suppose BUT stupefaction?
The daughter may have the skills to go along to get along, but she's not got the capability to go out, thirsty for knowledge and think for herself. The fact people use social media like drooling dolts, should illustrate that clearly.
Yes, when I was growing up Mom took us to get vaccinated by the health department because that's what you did back then. Now I would never have my children vaccinated. Though I don't have a good relationship with my DIL at least her and my son refuse to vaccinate their kids.
Conventional vaccinations DO make sense! The covid shots are not vaccinations; huge difference! Small pox, as an example, is recognized by ANYONE with common sense and minimal scientific ability, as a virus that had horrible effects on humans. By injecting a killed bunch of the smallpox virus, the human body develops the antibodies to the live smallpox virus. This is not rocket science. To say all vaccines are some conspiracy theory is so ridiculous on so many levels. The chemicals used with vaccines may be an issue, but the concept of vaccinations is not.
Even Q says not all vaccines are bad. Drop 1010.
Nope, smallpox cases skyrocketed when the vaccine was introduced. The more vaccination, the worse the cases.
Leicester city was able to eradicate smallpox with a simple quarantine. It doesn’t spread nearly as easily as other diseases.
The US army even did a theoretical campaign where they estimated if smallpox were used as a bio weapon, they still wouldn’t recommend a mass vaccination campaign.
Vaccine science is questionable and built on faulty premises. This is not the first time they’ve lied.
I believe a lot of people are stupid.
My daughter said yesterday...the thing abt all those group assignments we did in school is i learned that no matter how stupid you think someone is. ...They'll show you they are more stupid than that.
Smart vs Intelligent Wisdom vs Knowledge
I know a bunch of phds who are ridiculously stupid. They will twist and turn, over rationalize everything, but are still wrong. They tend to idolize or listen to other academics, basically the PhD eco chamber.
But when presented with simple, easily understood common sense principles...
“There HAS to be a reason... “
Immensely stupid. But very intelligent though.
Unfortunately the devil/evil is by far, more intelligent and smarter than any foolish human. You think you’re doing right, but before you know it you’re swimming in hot lava....
“My skin is burning, but it’s ok.. it’s a normal reaction”
I always listen to other people. I don't necessarily put much stock in what they say without validation, but I always listen, even if it's something I don't want to hear. In fact, especially when it's something I don't want to hear.
Part of my internal checksum routine to stop me succumbing to confirmation bias. Most of the time it's fruitless of course, my filters are fairly well tuned, but now and again I get a surprise (not always pleasant either) but it all adds up to better filters in the long run, so worth it for me.
