The left are closing off the eastern half of the U.S. If the Truckers can't go west to pick up loads/food and produce from California and other western states/ then we starve. Those truckers who are loaded headed east can't deliver either, not unless they take a different route. If barges can't go under for supplies needed in eastern half/we starve or do without what supplies we need. It is a tactic used to shut us down, stop us from working, and lock us in our own homes. As if the gas supply line down the eastern seaboard isn't enough, they are putting the crunch on us.
My garden is planted. Plenty of deer and rabbits on my property. Stockpiled some food because I have custody of my 3 oldest granddaughters. I can't let them do without. Just like Joseph, we must all prepare for hard times ahead. Amen.
I've crossed the Mississippi river at many places. It's not like one rail crossing in Atlas Shrugged. Trucks can go east/west using longer routes.
However, if barge traffic has been stopped then we're going to have problems.
You're right. My first husband was a trucker. He always took the shortest route; but sometimes he had to take the long way. I guess I forgot about that.
De Soto has quite a few trump parallels

Tactician. Defeated an empire. The Spanish people thought his expedition was a failure, but it actually several consequences.
Stopping barge traffic on the Mississippi is the REAL news. Cars and trucks can just go around.
Yep. More shipping delays. Mor lumber "shortages," and more trash piling up in the upper Mid West cities. Yay!!!
Which means the precipice is near(ing).

The cities might starve. Country folk know how to hunt and farm, though.

Cirn is growing fast this year !
Yep. I think mine is a bit ahead of the fields the cash farmers have planted.
This is how wars are won. Cut off supply lines.
Woah that’s exactly right!

Reporter outside with a mask on... Couldn't understand him. smh
This is what that $2-3B infrastructure bill is supposed to be about, not funding everything else but.
It’s closed indefinitely is the news. Until they get out to check it out.
Reminiscent of Atlas Shrugged except in the book it was a train bridge...
our infrastructure is crumbling ...
The numbers 4, 5 appear quite a bit in this article.
Just sayin'.
I wonder if this is connected to the gas issues. Stop travel in several directions for various reasons.
There are no coincidences...

What else did I miss?
Also take note of the symbolism of a deepstate favorite "pyramid" bass pro shop in the background.
