Did you know Trump ordered a fleet of ice breakers?
Cooler in Pa! 60s - usually 70s by now. 41 overnight.
Same with Michigan. Definitely cooler than I remember May being.
It's much cooler in England as well. Ski hills are open in May, first time in ages.
In my area (NC) the high seasonal norm is 79°F. On average, the recorded minimum temperature is 68°F. Right now, it is 49°F So yeah, it's getting a bit cooler.
Still having frost warnings in southern Michigan. Getting old considering we normally consider Memorial Day the latest date to get the garden in.
Might have to change Memorial Day as the earliest day to get the garden in. But it's all good - you can harvest in September and October...
In my area it usually feels like summer by now. But it still feels like it's early March.
Here in NY it was really warm a couple weeks ago but we had a frost last night.
It’s warmer in May with 90s in Bay Area
We’re in east central OK and we’ve been talking about the same thing!
Hope this doesn’t mean more ice storms this winter. That last one sucked. Still picking up limbs.
Me too! That sucked! Glad it was nothing like 2007 though!
It’s Cooler in my area as well. The Norm for this time of year is around the 80s.
It’s rarely gone above 70 for over a month
May 12, 2021 I'm wearing a hoodie bc its 52 degrees and windy. This time last year I was wearing a bathing suit and floating in the pool because it was in the low 80's. Supposed to drop to 45 degrees overnight. Completely unheard of in GA this time of year...except for maybe in the N. GA mtns.
Seems normal up here.
Still getting snow days
It's cooler than normal here, too. I like it.
54 in Raleigh, NC today. Was in high 70s previous to today.
48 degrees here in SE NC at 2 pm. It feels like winter here in the south!
At least it may keep the water temps in the Atlantic ocean from heating up and creating more hurricanes... one can only hope.
