This is my hubby's theory on why Ohio is ending all the mandates on June 2 - yearly budgets are due in July, and it's based on current economy figures, so they need June to be rip-roaring in order to get the most funding.
Without the vaccine passport how can they tell. It's all falling apart. Here in NZ we have vaccine clinics closing because of not enough vaccinators, nurses striking, and we have run out of doses lol. We might be the DS poster child but our lot couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.
Just talked to may daughter over the weekend, she's a pharmacist who's been administering the vax for a few months now. When I asked her how the gov would keep track she told me something I didn't know. The vax is free to anyone who wants it but they (in her case Wal-greens) will bill the gov through the person's private insurance to get reimbursed. Thereby alerting the feds about who has been vaccinated. Not sure how this will translate into the digital world, but I'm sure it will.
Similar to how our district superintendent explained that if your kid was out sick and tested positive for covid, SC DHEC will report the positive case to the school. Hippa goes out the window during a pandemic. All your information is in a file, everything.
