I’m noticing the teens at my children’s school are not wanting to give up the masks because they kind of hide behind them. It frightens me that human interaction and emotion is getting lost behind the masks.
I think human interaction got lost whith cell phones and computers...I drive a school bus and see this 100 times a day. This generation is lost in itself, no room for others.. Sad but true..
The advent of social media paired with smartphone tech has seriously fucked with younger folks social behavior.
Same as you, but not on a bus... I've witnessed the devolution of social interaction and spurring of social anxiety in the work place for over a decade.
I've witnessed it firsthand. Im a horribly socially awkward 23 yr old (albeit much more successful than most of my peers) but i never developed social skills cause i never really had to. The even younger generations have it even worse than I did.
if you are really healthy your body will have viruses every year atleast to cleanse itself. people have been mislead to believe viruses are unhealthy and dangerous your body literally makes it to heal itself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLpL_1tP5jM
Neither I nor anyone in my family has got a cold in over a year (it’s not the mask, because I never wear one - it’s the insane fact that human contact has become outlawed), and the clear lack of exposure to anything is going to leave everyone’s immune systems as fragile and unprepared as the “boy in the bubble.”
I’m about ready to start licking doorknobs; this lunatic sterile world is wantonly wasting away the incredibly complex and robust immune systems God gave us. The next virus is likely going to be far worse, simply because our bodies, like our societies, have forgotten how to stand and fight malign invaders.
I expressed dismay recently that my children's immune systems are thus far likely underdeveloped due to the lack of human contact they've experienced. I told someone that I'd let a stranger sneeze in my mouth at this point because I just don't care anymore. That is, however, a gross exaggeration of what I am willing to do.
I've noticed myself becoming slightly more careless when it comes to cleanliness, just to ensure my immune system remains strong and able to fight off infection. Food falls on the floor? I'm no longer practicing a 5 second rule, now it's a 10 second rule. Walking down stairs? Hand on the railing all the way down just to expose my body. Automatic doors? Nah I'm going for the one I need to grab with my hand. I haven't been sick all year, never wear a mask, and didn't change anything in my life except for being a little more messy
I believe that's the Adam Carolla method. He even dropped an almond on a runway once and a crow picked it up in its mouth, dropped it back down, and Adam just ate it and went on his way. He routinely talks about how he's never sick.
I've had a phobia of germs since 8th grade, so I've been germ-avoidant, but I've actively worked to get better. Maybe one day I'll reach your level.
One of my retarded sisters said that to me right after I told her that the science demonstrates that mask wearing is ineffective against viral transmission.
This is the same sister who told me that my brain would "turn to mush" by playing videogames.
I really don’t care if they all walk around in hazmat suits. Just don’t tread on my choice not to.
I agree but most are Nazis. At least the face diapers enable us to spot all the morons so we know who to keep away from lol.
Exactly. Face diapers are like people wearing a sign saying "I'm an idiot - here's the proof!"
Normal people can then easily avoid the self-proclaimed idiots - it saves so much time and effort. Brilliant!
Once the public sentiment shifts they'll flip in a heartbeat. They live and die for peer acceptance.

This bigly.

Zombies dude. Zombies. :(

Fauci wrote a study in 2008 showing that most of the deaths in the 1918 spanish flu were due to bacterial pneumonia caused by wearing the masks.
History will repeat itself eventually - Darwinism in action...
The masks are their social justice badges. They can wear them to show how much better they are than everyone else.
My mother in law and mom have both said this. I am thinking, how many people get a virus every year? I know I usually go 3 to 4 years between colds.

Didn't know that. Thanks
It probably has more to do with the social distancing and improved hand washing. But let people make their own choices.
I've watched these people, no longer even touch those hand sanitizer stations they demanded everywhere.
They claim the masks are to protect others. Thats why, if you put the mask on backwards, you can get the covid. (sarcasm)
Lol
They ugly
Mind control / brain programming is real. These zombies prove it time and time again
Maybe it will end up being... 4-6%?? Who knows
The virtue signallers are going to need one with a message on it that says "Yes I am Vaccinated but I still Care about You."
That they have gotten haute couture producers involved, the mask has become a talisman of nearly tribal appeal.
I heard someone I know say exactly that. ?

Yeah, I know the feeling.
I don’t love gross stuff or filth, but know we need reasonable exposure to our fellow humans for our health, both physical and mental.
It is probably the hand washing & vitamin D for me.

Thinking about how uncomfortable their lives have become, brings me joy.
Just think of how much more uncomfortable it will be as ditching the mask becomes more commonplace.
That's awesome - makes it easier to spot the shedding idiots!
