Thankfully my son's school isn't controlled by mask nazis. It's a little school, k-5, literally one class per grade. The teachers have to wear masks(they takethem off in their classroom), kids can if they want. They're only required to wear it on the bus. Still don't like that, but I can deal for now. Homeschooling my son after this year is up anyway.
I never make my son wear a mask anywhere. Makes me angry seeing people put their 4 and 5 years olds in masks. If you're that worried why are you taking them out in public??????
I see babies in masks all the time. In fact can count the number of times I've seen them without masks on my hands. Korea has truly become a lost country. Over here the parents don't have to police the maskwearing, the kids do it for them.
I stood up to our school board on Monday with several other parents. I talked about this on another post but we are pretty sure the school board president had YT take it down for misinformation. She went to Twitter and lied about what so called "misinformation" was given. Everything that was said was true and there were many questions asked of the board. Stuff they didn't want others to hear and actually question what they are doing. The school board president also contacted a pro mask group to counter protest us and contacted the media to do what they do best, take us out of context and make us look like loons.
I have joined a group that is wanting change. Many of us are pulling our kids from the schools until change can happen. I live in a state that does not have school choice. There are no charter schools because they have to be under the public school board. There is private schools but they are expensive and many of them have bought into CRT. So, at this point, homeschooling is the only way to go.
Remember the definition of misinformation means the school board president says you presented FALSE information, equivalent to calling you a liar. So, now you should demand that all the false parts of what you said be proven to be false.
When they don’t you will be set up for a nice defamation suit.
If you went back in time and told people the most likely place to find violent pedos, drug-pushers and criminals were in schools... and that they were teachers, they would look at you like you had lost your mind.
All with that same lack of accountability that typifies leftist commie scum.
The 'long march through the institutions' has hit schools the worst, they are unfit for children.
I told my daughter's school principal she isn't allowed to wear masks period end of story. Supposed to be going into K this fall...we'll see how it goes. I was met with the "well we believe masks have helped stop transmission. We had positive cases and they were totally contained. Honestly, we haven't had a single issue all year with even our youngest wearing masks. They do get breaks during the day." I just gave it the ya, uh huh and wrapped up the convo for now. The next one won't be friendly from me. What kind of dumb logic is that? Mask breaks? They either work and you need them 100% of the time, or they're worthless. And these people are supposed to be educating our children about "science."
The science says kids don’t get it often and if they do they don’t transmit it, even maskless.
I’m in the same situation as you and if the school forces masks on my kid going into kindergarten in September then I have a back up private school lined up and if they go nazi too then I will just homeschool. I am midcareer and leaving will likely end my trajectory but this (and the vax) are worth protecting my kids from, career be damned.

They’re on the masks (every brand I’ve checked, and on the swabs used for the covid tests. You and your children are supposed to be breathing these in, and have them stuck up your nose!
I got exemptions for 5 of my kids and my Hs 16 yo wears it under his nose and they don’t even bother to say anything to the Hs kids anymore. I also filed an SB40 hearing our legislators put in place to fight it (useless) now in a lawsuit. Probably won’t do anything but I’m also working with other parents trying to get others to join us. I don’t understand apathetic parents. However I can tell you it has awakened many parents who never paid attention to school boards. We are very aware and it has brought attention to all the other crap that many didn’t know. We are going to help elect new board members. I’m sure the school will try to find a way around our exemptions- because those of us who have them are helping others get them ?
Imo homeschooling if possible is the way to go. Aside from knowing what the kids are being taught, it's same as boycotting Coca Cola and other companies. Organize like minded parents to do the same and drain their revenue en masse.
Iowa just passed a bill saying that if schools require masks they’ll lose funding. Pretty much all of them dropped their mask mandates. My family has been celebrating!
Today Gov. Cuomo announced that BABIES, ie, toddlers under five and over 2 will have to wear masks to be around others. This is NEW. This is a DISGRACE. We need to protest in Albany for the babies.
The fact that the cabal brought children into this at all is one of the most evil things they have ever done. Initially because they told us that “kids could not get or spread Covid” (clearly bullshit, to be fair) I thought well at least they are just going to put us adults through their little humiliation ritual.
But nope.
These pedophiles couldn’t resist. They had to go after the kids. The mask is just their way to force your children into their perverted S&M cuck-muzzle fetish. I think the image of a child is a mask should be considered a form of child porn and banned. It is obscene and I don’t even think we should be posting pictures of such obscenity. I also think we should make these pervert teachers participating in their S&M fetish with children know that we know this secretly arouses them sexually. Pull their mask off and show the world the pedophiles they are.
Our school district is in a tight place: unmask - make a large group of parents (and the community mad), keep the masks and a different group is mad. The school is keeping the temp cooler, and less humidity; so, kids will sweat less...
If the community rose up and said “no more masks”, it would support the school enough to make it happen.
This reminds me of a comment someone made about the brands you wear. A brand is what you put on a cattle to signify that it's yours and it's no different than wearing "brand name" clothing. We are just cattle to them.

Unfortunately I went through a similar situation with the head of the democrats here last year, they dropped the misinformation claim pretty quick.

So far as I’m concerned, anyone who masks their child or allows their child to be masked is guilty of child abuse and should see serious jail time.
