So, it’s finally happened... my 100% remote company was just told that, some day in July, we would all be required to come in, at the same time, one day a week.
And now co-workers are asking everyone on Slack about who has been vaccinated and making thinly veiled sarcastic jokes about how they’ll ask everyone to show their papers.
I actually had to remind one of them that he was anti-vaccine back in December and January, before he suddenly flipped (but I’m sure he’s very smart and did not base his opinion solely on what CNN says at any given moment).
Boss hasn’t mandated the vaccine yet, but it’s coming.
I don’t normally post, but I need moral support! The fight has finally come to my door, and now I either need to just quit real soon and find something else, or prepare for how I stand my ground!
Just lie and say you got the vax.
When everyone in your company starts having neurological problems and early dementia or Alzheimers from taking the vax... they won't remember anyway.
You can't - companies ask for proof if you've been vaccinated once you say you have been ;(
I looked this up and it says employers do in fact have the right to have medical info like vaxxes and can ask. I have to do all kinds of things for my med insurance, and verifying well check ups and vaxxes are under an employers right to ask. I haven't been required to get it yet, but they have asked.
I had to retake a vaccine as an adult to get back into graduate school.
some day in July is indefinite. Don't worry, lots can happen by then.
Here's a good place to start other than the frontline doctors site which was posted by someone else. https://covidlegalusa.com/fighting-mandatory-vaccines/
Good Luck to you. How can employers ask about medical history? It is outrageous. It is not legal. Start a new job search. They cannot make this mandatory. It has not been approved by the FDA. You may want to consult an attorney as well. If you are dismissed for refusing contact the local and national media. This cannot stand.
I just told my coworkers I don’t need it- I never got the flu shots either. No one openly said a word back to me ?♀️- stand your ground for now & see where it goes.
May the Lord give you comfort and counsel on what to wisely do next. I pray a good path opens to you.
Hold off on quitting yet. By the time this comes about its possible the side effects show on those jabbed or they may have passed away.
I’m finding out that I’m not alone in my hesitancy now, at least.
So, they may well find themselves with 2-3 employees quitting all at once, which they cannot afford to do.
One employee is a fellow software developer that I work with (who I suspect is a Trumper) and the other is into the ACA processing and compliance side (a black woman who tends to post liberal things on Facebook but also has some very strong 2nd Amendment leanings... she’s the type of person who I think would be a full blown awakened Q supporter if you could cut through the MSM noise).
Both are smart and valuable employees that we can’t afford to lose (although one has a rather business specific skillset that might hamper his job search).
A part of me thinks I could just quietly find another software dev job and be done with it, but the other part of me wants to put up a fight, and do the right thing, for the sake of the other 2 employees (and anyone else who might be against the vaxx but are too afraid to say anything).
It scares me to think that anyone else working here might get the jab out of pressure to do so. Nobody should ever feel that way.
Thank you for the encouragement, fren!
Don't quit, hold out and make them fire you.
If you quit you will have no recourse because they will just say "MahaYoshi quit, their decision!".
If they fire you over it then you might have a wrongful termination suit, but if you quit you have nothing.
Don’t quit. Make them fire you
The clinical trials will be complete in 2023.
Have you always been completely against vaccines? If so ,start with that. IDK, I think my job may bring that up soon as well. No definite RTW date has been set yet ( last Said was maybe July) I don't know and understand how companies can mandate someone put something into their bodies against their will by coercion. It's a sad world we live in . I am sure or at least hope that if Trump was in office he would not allow this to happen
Whatever you do, DON’T GET IT
put it in God's hands right now!!
They cannot force the vax. Do not take it, use whatever they do to punish you as a badge of honor. Be a beacon of freedom for the rest of your company.
I'm not vaccinated, but I identify as vaccinated. I'm trans-vaxx. Vaccination is a spectrum, respect diversity.

Excellent resources, thank you!
You're welcome.
Well man, I quit over my boss singling me out, ultimately he apologized, stopped, and we’ve worked things out.

So theyre changing from being remote to make it more necessary to get the vax lole2
To be fair, we weren’t 100% remote before COVID, but several employees were insisting on it and the direction was towards very few days in the office.
COVID accelerated that and made us 100% remote for over a year. There was always a vague notion of “coming back to the office once in a while” that never materialized and most co-workers said they had no interest.
What scares me is how quickly my co-workers went from “I’m never going to go back to the office regularly” to “let’s shame all the anti-vaxxers who refuse to come in!”
Group think and herd mentality is a hell of a drug.
wow yea it is literally INSANE. i'm job hunting and dreading being around cucks like this all the time
“No” is a complete sentence
You might want to mention that during the Nuremburg trails, following the government orders was not an excuse for crimes against humanity. The vaccine is still experimental, and why Paski says the WH has go to a no mask policy and is not asking for proof.

I have a similar question I need help with - Santa Clara County, CA issued an order the other day requiring all employers to ask and keep records of the vaccine status of all employees, and follow up every 14 days. I don't live in CA but my company is asking this of everyone across the US. The deadline is a week from now, June 1st.
What do I do? Can I just ignore this and not answer it? Do I have any rights? I'm so afraid right now.
Wow, sounds like your company is a couple steps ahead of mine.
If you think you can get by just ignoring it, or telling them “I’m not vaccinated yet” indefinitely, then I’d go for that.
But, all this stuff takes on a new weight when it’s your own livelihood on the line.
I’m not sure what the answer in your case is, but stand strong and know that you’re not alone!
Keep me updated!
In my state exemptions applied when my work required a vaccine to work. They keep it on file and no one ever knew. I live in a common sense state though l, so good luck.
You could always try the stall tactic and say you'll get it after the FDA approves it.
2 ppl in my family allergic to latex, and one to tuberculin. Not sure abt latex, but the tb allergy is a definite no go.
Point is, NOT EVERYONE who wants the vax will be vaxxed-- some conditions are a rule out.
That being said, time to find a different place to work, I'm thinkin....
You are now on the front lines.
You didn’t choose this battle, you just woke up one day to find you were behind enemy lines.
We are all wishing you good luck!
Thank you for your support!
I thought I was ready for this fight if it happened, but it took me off guard this morning.
But after reading everyone’s support and collecting myself a bit, I’m ready for the battle.
Tell them you may have or you may not have and your healthcare is your person info hippa etc.
I would say to look for other employment. There are some good offers put there. My old company is very into covid and likely is going to require the vax soon. I just got a new job more money and all online so I can move somewhere cheaper. I told them I was leaving because of there Covid policies,I've complained to HR a few times and gotten long talks about safety.
I’ve been considering a new job for a while, but I’ve been with this company so long that it’s sometimes hard to imagine leaving.
Glad it worked out for you! That’s encouraging to hear!
Someone posted this here. It may help https://greatawakening.win/p/12igmDjJOm/pedes-fighting-employer-mask--va/c/
Man up like the rest of us. You can do it.
