Unfortunately no, it's not illegal. Employers can require vaccinations of their employees. I was on a company conference call with an attorney who advised us of that when the topic came up. Our company is not going to require it, but it was discussed.
Fortunately we are mask optional and the policy is to not ask for vaccination status.
If the company requires it in order to work, then the company can be held liable for adverse effects.
There's also a difference between vaccines and experimental gene therapy.
OSHA is backing off that now. It will be interesting to follow
Yes. They can require it, but if you end up with so much as a fever or feeling crappy, they can be sued.
A little thing like the Constitution would strongly disagree-rights are God given, NOT mandate du jour of people who have forgotten they are Americans.. but love the power trips..
Ugh, it bothers me when people speak about things they don't know. Nobody I repeat nobody can legally be forced to take an experimental drug. The covid 19 experimental drug is not a vaccine.
I’m just passing on what an employment law attorney advised us. This is a hot topic in employment law right now so I’ll take her at face value.
Employers can’t force anyone to get it. But employers have the right to make it a condition of employment. Those are two totally different things
That falls under coercion in the Nuremburg codes. Nobody can be coerced into taking experimental medical treatments for any reason. That IS worldwide law.
???
They can't require you to participate in an experimental medical treatment though!
They can “require” whatever they want.
I will not “comply”
Not yet anyway.
