Totally agree, rooftoptendie! It’s a major transition for one accustomed to an urban city to move to Main Street. There is also the car situation. Many urbanites do not have a car. Family, friends, job, and money also factor into a major move like that. Easier said than done. I say that nyc9308 should hold the line until NYC swings back to its glory. Well, at least until August.
Move to Austin, Texas.
The music, arts and restaurants in downtown Austin are too rate, very innovative. Some of the biggest corporations in the U.S. have moved their headquarters to Austin. Cost of living is 1/2 what you pay in NYC.
You can live very well in Austin without a car. I would recommend a bicycle or scooter though.

I remember reading an article years ago about Miami becoming a mostly Spanish-language city, and marvelling about how that ever came to be. It wasn't long after that, that a similar tipping point happened in Los Angeles. It's truly been a planned destruction of our culture. I thank God daily for Trump and Q, and the patriots. Although I'm convinced and confident in the plan, I also get doubts and pray like the fellow in the bible "I believe; help thou my unbelief."
